I'm sure fatigue decks will try him out, but i suspect they'll quickly get tired of him in this meta: pulling a huge leggo (not to mention nat, cho, etc) instead of an answer against an aggro deck will be infuriating. It can and will lose you many games.
He'd be much more viable in a control meta where there's not as much pressure to play removal and stalls every turn.

Control warrior strikes me as the only deck that would consider him seriously, since it's so bursting with answers and can afford to tank up and pass on shit draws. Even so, the meta doesn't favor it, since only maybe 1 in 20 games goes to fatigue nowadays, and very little of the leggo pool is of any use against aggro. If malchezaar's effect was "at the start of the game, add 5 random legendaries to the bottom of your deck", i'd feel much better about him.

Might also be useful in reno decks that have to use crap to fill slots, since the random leggos might actually be a positive addition.

All that said, the only reason i'm even writing this is because i like the idea and want him to be viable somehow. I'll fuck around with him just for the memes, i'm sure he'll be fun even if he's complete garbage.

Any ideas on how to improve this fun deck?

What is this decks downfall supposed to be? Consistency right?

So after a bout of frenzied playtesting to get a quick rank 5 after not having played all month, I seriously think the aggro rogue that people like Reynad's been tinkering with is the new sleeper cancer of the game, especially if a definite decklist appears. It's a fast, explosive deck that either runs out of steam quickly or completely obliterates current meta decks. I've been trying it out and it feels consistent enough for laddering.

There are several problems running into cards like Feral Spirits and early AoE's. since your game plan consists of having ridiculous tempo, you cannot really afford to play around unfavored opponents with god-hands and simply have to bet on them not having drawn it in time. Since you run out of cards by mid-game, the game quickly turns into a matter of topdecking enough damage, which depends entirely on the early turns consisting of you slamming minions into face while the opponent is stuck reacting with inefficient plays. The deck is really, really good at this however. It's pretty hilarious when you swashburglar crazy shit. Cthun warriors are the strongest against it, others are much weaker. Druids are an impossible matchup with their cheap, early removal, if they draw swipes early and follow up with taunts. The strong suit of the deck is that slower decks without that safety are extremely vulnerable to this playstyle, and non-shaman aggro decks often cannot keep up with it. It's quite common to out-tempo zoo with more minions on the board by decisive turns 3 and 4, which can only be countered by a strong forbidden ritual turn. As for hunters, they simply cannot keep up. I haven't lost a single game to a hunter, period. Their early-game minions and removals are too weak and by the time Savannah drops, you've pretty much sealed the game.

I've tinkered with variants of the deck and have currently settled on this for the resilient flame jugglers and finley. If any of you have tried this kinda thing out, what are your thoughts?

I think it's definitely one of the weaker cards but it's a valuable later 1-drop to proc combos since your other 1-drops are too important to be sandbagged for later turns, and it's nice to keep a little extra life in your hand. I've had some ridiculous catches from them aswell, malkorok into grommash was pretty hilarious. Against mages you seem likely to draw burst damage which can be vital for sealing the game. I used to play a lot of casino mage so I'm OK with the random element.

WotOG is going to be in rotation the longest, and out of priest's cards, Darkshire Alchemist sees some play and Shifting Shade sees decent usage.

You mostly want it for the neutral minions though. Shit like Yogg-Saron and N'Zoth the Corruptor are very notable, fit into a lot of decks and pretty fun if you pull them.

Fucking finally. 6 hours (with breaks) and a whole pizza later, i went rank 10 to 5.
