the good old days . . .
T-80 or T-72A?
T-64BV1 or T-72 Obr'87?
Buratino or mortars?
>>153528328
T-80 and T-72A are pretty different in usage. T-72A is very cheap for the amount of armor it brings so its really nice for supporting your infantry in forest against Jaeger and other infantry with midrange (16AP or less) RPG. But it's a bit too light for fighting other tanks. It can do the job but it's not super efficient at it and you generally bring it for its versatility in being an anti-inf/anti-ifv/pushing fodder tank.
T-80 on the other hand is a standard antitank tank in its price bracket. More well rounded but also costlier so a touch less effective than t-72a at fighting infantry or serving as a meatshield.
>>153530257
are base T-72 / T-64 that much worse?
is eugene kill or are they low-key making wg4?
>>153533692
t64a is nice
>>153533976
fuck off mosque
>>153533976
Well we originally let the general die because it was thought that RD is ded and we'll wait for wg4 announcement. Except now they've decided to keep updating RD and are releasing nation DLCs. Hopefully with profits going to secret wg4 project.
/wgg/ i..is it really you?
newfig here, what did I do wrong?

>LOG
is fine
>INF
get SAS instead of manpad
ah.7 instead of for helitransports
get some canada rifles and in th495 and commandos 90 in wheeled transports in place of the gurkhas and a fusilier.
put the last fusilier in a cheaper transports
>support
id do some upvetting on everything but mortars and swap the spaag or wolverine for tracked rapier fsa
>tank
chally 2, 145 pt chally or the 105 pt, mexas, 45 pt chieftan
>recon
recce in truck
upvet coyote
swap the scout for maybe sbs in ah7 or green jackets in truck or maybe the 25 pt aslav
>veh
get the centurian in place of whichever veh you like less
>planes
I'd swap out the sead for an atgm plane for heaviest of tanks with high top armor if you're having problems with tanks, if not then it's fine
what are your thoughts on the MiG-29M after the ASF rebalance
>>153536442
Ok thanks, but why SAS instead of LAAD Javelin? They don't seem that much better and cost a heap. Also what's the use of the AVRE? Is it only for infantry or does it have other uses?
>>153539690
CEV in webm is renamed AVRE. They're good against groups of infantry, either in forests or defensively.
>>153539690
SAS are nice and versatile.
>>153539690
SAS are a different type of infantry, they're commandos with a manpad on top. So instead of buying javelin and a shock squad, you get elites with manpad capability. Javelins have their use, only implement that anon's advice to the extent it works for you, but I'd advise SAS too.
>>153538213
I tried it and it does ok but I don't find the clusters useful so it ends up working like a 120-130pt ASF but one per card.
>>153539690
I only like having 1 card of utility. 1 card of atgm or 1 card of manpad unless I'm playing a deck with extra infantry slots. The multirole infantries like lstr or sas are very nice to have though
bmp1 strong now
we can bmp a lot more
Its time for Decisive Campaigns Barabrossa
Should I play the Soviets or Germany?
>>153540250
I agree.
What line infantry for RD moto? I've heard the Zhanshi '85 are bad, but I keep using them since there's no better choices price wise.
>>153533692
Depends. As an actual anti-tank asset? Yes. As fire support? No, base T-72 is amazing.
>>153549047
soviets go
reddit, help !!
>>153557773
meme deck
nice 8 rpm heavy
>>153552065
bochongsu, li-jian
>>153552065
Zhanshi are just too expensive considering they die to any infantry they meet. Bochongsu actually win sometimes and you have more money for stuff to support them with.
bmpbmp
I really wish the mig 25 and the might 31 had a unique speed and went fasted then 1000km/have and say went 1250

>>153588428
>is it necessary for this deck?
Your infantry is going to lag several kilometers behind your armored push and won't be able to get quickly to other places. Your helicopter will get shot down the instant it gets spotted, so yes, it is necessary. Having a mobile, expendable 25 point jeep is always useful.
The PGZ-80 is pretty much shit compared to the glorious Afghanski, and shouldn't take a spot in your SUP tab when you can get them in the VEH tab for the same price. You could have a Buk there, or a MSTA-S.
>isn't there the tung
Which has 3000 range against planes, meaning you will lose 100 point assets to SEAD without being able to do anything. If you're idiotic enough to spam Tunguskas-Ms, there's no saving you.
>stop having fun
And stop using what is essentially a pumped up line infantry which will die to any good push and armor.
