Jesus, I'm bad and should feel bad. This guy was supposed to be one of the easier bosses but I still managed to lose even with help? It was a visually stunning fight though, and it was pretty fun even with the gimmick.

Still, why were my Storm Ruler hits doing only like 3k damage to him? People I talked to have said that it takes them five hits to kill him, but it took me almost twice that many.

Creighton could've been the "evil" version of Sirris questline, that way you can join tongues/get the gesture without losing out on a bunch of cool shit.
Imagine after killing Cursed Crotchrot he's standing over Hodrick - claiming that he watched rocks fall and kill him. Does the introduction to the mad phantom covenant in Hodricks place, letting blind players join it instead of hiding the only new covenant DS3 introduced behind some retarded easily missed approachable enemy.

Later at the bridge there's a summon sign to aide whoever's quest you're doing. If neither are angry at you (joined mad phantoms but not tongues) you have the option to betray one or kill both. Whoever you spare gives you their set, Merchant Hag sells the set(s) of the dead. Sunless Talisman spawns at the grave next to Firelink if Sirris dies, dragon slayer axe spawns at the grave next to Yorshka's Church if Creighton dies.

Whoever you spare lets you fight Hodrick.
Sirris questline continues as usual (boss summon, dies for talisman).
After killing Hodrick with Creighton, he turns and attacks you. If you die a crushed eye orb spawns at the grave next to Yorshka's, allowing you to invade Creighton at the Pit of Hollows. Killing him nets you his axe.

I forgot another good R2, which is the zweihander 2hr2. It has the same animation and hyper armor of the rolling 2HR1 of AGS, so if you can predict that someone's going to attack you you can use that for a trade.

I'm not saying you should rely on R2 but they are useful in tons of weapons and lots of cases. Just because your CCS or your 2h glaive has shitty spin R2 doesn't mean others don't have uses. Also as I said spin slash/bash on HA weapons is pretty good.

With Pontiff's Eye, Carthus Beacon and OWCS on your back, it's borderline OP. I'd recommend at least the ring for viability, others are discretionary.
The L1's can triple combo if your opponent attempts to roll backwards out of the first two attacks. Playstyle rewards baiting with R1's and L1's, and punishing opponents' whiffs with the WA.
It's lots of fun. My first weaponfu from my first playthrough.

Not wrong. Mugen doesn't work in the luck bonus from holding hollowed items. Plenty of weapons don't lose scaling from the infuson, and just gain more investment potential, plus you're going to have at least 7 luck either way. It applies to fewer weapons but the builds are usually better.

Dunno, there are more areas in DaS3 but they are all small compared to other souls.
Meanwhile Yarnam and woods are huge in BB.

Its just like, BB feels like they put more work into it. There are more particule effects with fog and smoke, the audio has way more work like a lot of background noise and such etc.

DaS3 lacks depth and runs a bit too heavy off of DaS nostalgia. It's a direct sequel so there's some justification for it, but still it diminishes the game's own identity.
