So, is there any reason to play BF Mines now? The fact that BF mines no longer autotarget pretty much kills any incentive to use mines now. Traps might still be okay I guess? but still very clunky because you're limited by their cooldown to clear maps.

It's probably not even good for Atziri farming anymore since you have to hug monsters so they're all hit by BF falling at your feet, works somewhat okay vs Vaals but not so much against Trio/Atziri herself. Thoughts?

I added 2 jewels and curse cluster, removed the templar side and mind drinker. I'm at 110 points now, so i dont think i can invest into the templars aoe cluster, can i?

Looking better, now try to reach the increased duration nodes in the templar-witch-scion area. Good for BV and makes your Poisons last longer as well. It's also near the curse effectiveness nodes. If you can reach those while maintaining ES above 200% then you're in a good spot.

Gutted some ES and the shadow power charge to get to the duration nodes at the scion area. Going for the curse effect nodes there seems like a big investment though, i need at least 5 additional nodes to get there

I respec'd an old KB wander of mine before the patch and fucked around with a wither totem to check how the maim+hinder combo would work out. What ascendancy do you have? It's obviously not assassin, because you got pcoc. KB is good enough for clear that you can pull off a 4link, but Frenzy isn't going to be great boss killer either, I also really don't want to. Playing with frost wall was the fun part of the build, you might actually still save time by just pulling bosses to a wall and killing them with 4L KB compared to Frenzy.

You wanna get the Melding cluster for the Energy from Within jewel.

You also want the spell damage per power charge node, which means you gotta go above it to reach the curse area instead of below, letting you pick less average ES nodes and making you skip on that inefficient cast speed cluster.

And picking up the average 20% crit chance nodes when you don't have to is probably not the best way to go.

Mechanics of the spell? It still has most broken mechanic of all time in PoE. It still shotguns with rolling flames jewels. GMP supported fireball AoE explosions overlap. This effect (in 2.3) combined with spell echo, elementalist's conflux and Emberwake ring (LOL FUCKING EMBERWAKE SUCH 1 ALCH UNVIABLE TRASH LOL). Gave you 5(GMP + base) x 2 (echo) = 10 burns to single target on each cast. (Emberwake gets better at six or more burns compared one regular burn effect)

In addition, emberwake stacks burns from elementalist's F R E E eleprolif making map clearing a complete joke, since you instantly applied 10 burns to every single mob and 10 burns from every single adjacent mob. Channelled Skill System:

Anon, it's basically a single player game with co-op and trading as far as I'm concerned. Amassing wealth for me doesn't mean matching up to the people who play 24/7 with near perfect efficiency, it means getting the fun items and builds I want, and enough currency to sustain that.

The only problem I see with standard is the economy, and I think there are some pretty valid concerns there, particularly how it's much harder to sell stuff that isn't damn near perfect.

I'm calling it now - Wild Strike is going to be a top melee build. I played it a long time ago before ascendancy when nobody thought it was good and had 117k tooltip dps with duel-wield claws. It just got a major buff to both damage and AoE. This is what I'll be playing this league. Wild Strike was the most fun build I ever played, very strong, and now it's much better than ever.

How much are they buffing monster life? detonate dead might be pretty neato if its really high.

You can do about 45~ % of monster's base health with a doryani and the left side of the tree.

Ignoring burn and just going elemental focus ramps it up to 67.5%.

With conc effect itll do over 100% base hp.

Just go as a berserker with purely defense oriented gear and 8k life, get an extra 40% more damage -> 140% base life detonation.

plus penetration, and it doesnt even reflect back. seems neato.

Corrupted Asenath's with Vuln on Hit saves you two blasphemy auras. TC's Increased debuff duration which is what poison builds need the most doesn't get better with levels. Same goes for vulnerability, the DoT damage doesn't get better with levels.

You could instead get good gloves for your build with temp chains/vuln on hit, and pick up aura reservation nodes for the second blasphemy.

Another alternative is getting Heretic's Veil+Enlighten, that's probably the most expensive option.

I really like the comparison between hawks (hc) and crows (sc).

you can clear mid tiers maps with anything. i predict you'll run into a wall sooner or later because you lack damage and lw has a very low base damage to be scaled of.

there's only 2 real options here: elementalist or trickster. elementalist somehwat solves your lack of damage issue, while trickster solves your mana issue. either way, you need to fix either. and your single target would still end up pretty poor, probably.

second, there's no good way to scale LW's level with unique staves (they're all garbage) which leaves you with... bronn's lithe I guess? good luck coloring that. you'll also be extremely reliant on a helm enchant to reduce duration. gimmicky build imo
