I just like unloading more than one shell at a time, i'd like to envisage a double crit from both barrels of a sawn-off would just blow a hole straight through a Deathclaw.

Pumps are cool, because the pump but the smouldering shell auto-eject from a spent double barrel is even cooler.

Autos have their place for massive sustained destruction but lack the mechanical punch a pump delivers in between shots.

Eh. Shotguns are cool. I'd rate any shotgun over a different type of gun, revolvers come close.

What is the crit modifier on the Sawn-Off DB Shotgun, come to think? I need lighter guns for Survival, however pistols/sneaky melee might not do the damage I want. That said a Sawn-Off only run limits me a bit because all the rifles are quite bulky, save the Laser Rifle.

To start the arena combat go to the arena and look at both terminal notes on the terminal opposite of where you came in from the gauntlet. Walk outside, you should hear an alarm. Then talk to a random npc and they will tell you someone is coming through the gauntlet. Then you get a repeatable arena quest called "Amoral Combat"

Yeah, I played with dolphin porn and I could build the flags. There's a bug though so the crafting menu read "LOOKUP FAILED" or something, but yeah it had the flags for all the gangs, plus some of the random stuff they have in their turn, all craftable.

You really expect to raid places with pivotal characters? Here im gonna help you out a bit. Download "McDonough must die" it lets you slaughter everyone, including companions, children, any npc and preston. Its the only mod I know that lets you actually dismember preston, that's why i like it. Second spawn your raider buddies in with the console and they'll fuck up the place with you. Once they are done theyll sandbox and claim the place for their own. Of course you cant build in predetermined settlements so its kind of pointless. But take it or leave it.
