I just started playing two days ago. It's early leveling days, but this is such a wonderful, finely-tuned MMO. Being able to level every class/job on one character is a literal game-changer. Also, everyone is really pleasant (for an MMO community, at least).

I'm heading towards a Dragoon (MRD 18, LNC 25). I feel like everyone plays one because they're the mascot of Heavensward, but I can't help it. I'm so sorry for choosing the flavor-of-the-month.

Ill be server transferring to Balmung from Leviathan shortly, already put gil on retainers and alts, bought materials to farm crafting scripts to get my specialist books, but still have about 6 mil left over. I started playing this game with several friends. Only one other plays anymore, and theyre transferring to balmung. I know how that feels, but to be honest you aren't really going to feel welcome in any FC on Balmung because every FC is pretty circlejerky and you'll be a new transfer and stuff. That said, a lot of people are still fairly approachable so you should be able to make new friends.

In my own FC it's what I just described; but people are always hanging around outside the house and I'm not a ghost to all of the members, which at least is different from the norm for me and I enjoy it. I'm not even much of friends with people in the FC but most of then seem to acknowledge that I exist when I'm around which makes things feel a lot more welcoming compared to usual.
