It's true. On old copies of Sonic Riders on PC, there are little ads for Sonic 06 on them, the platforms listed were Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

PC port was cancelled due to time, just like the Wii port (but IIRC that was more because the Wii's hardware wasn't powerful enough to support 06).

freedom planet was okay to me even though I only played the demo. Don't go in expecting classic physics though. They're closer to Sonic 4/Rush.

The part where you click the switches to fix the rails. I kept on clicking them both but I couldn't get to the top rail. I checked a play through and it showed they had to connect, so I learned you just need to click one of the switches.

This game has pretty sloppy controls. I keep on falling and sliding around.
