I have the treasure hunter set and it's not all that much better considering scenarios shit out quest mobs to the point where you can just do the dungeon once and be done.
Not that I was going to get pinks with the bonus % chances, or use half of them since they're either mismatched by class or jewellery that is trumped by the set anyway.

All in all both sets are nice for leveling. They're equally shit at what their "focus" does so that just leaves their bonus town movement/stats, which are A+

Keep Gruff by the portal by fighting him closer to it. This will give you more space in phase 2. His attacks before phase 2 should not give you much trouble.

Once phase 2 starts, focus on running in big circles when he's doing his lightning spam. At the point in your circle where you run towards him for a bit, make sure to jump move along the Y axis so that his lightning doesn't fuck you. DPS when he takes a break and in phase 3.

When he returns to phase 1, make sure to keep moving so the random lightning from the sky doesn't kill you. Try to keep him in the portal because he won't use his retarded anti-cube invincibility while he's in it. Repeat tactics above.

Yes. Magic stone is the most elemental damage out of any slot usually and stacking ele damage is one of the highest damage increases you can get.

However, if you get a good epic, like ray decrease shoulder, you can use the magic stone slot for a chron.

Are you doing it on Normal? If yes, set pieces don't drop on Normal, only Expert/Master with Master having a higher drop rate.

Otherwise [as far as I know], doing OV in a party won't increase the amount of set pieces you get; it just improves the chance of you getting your pieces by removing your other party members' drops from your personal pool (which doesn't help if you have more than one of the same subclass in the party). There's no cure for shit luck in this game.

Behemoth is the best pet if you already have a Crit Smash mod otherwise the Petit CotD creatures are better. There's a few exceptions to this such as any class that wants a level 15 skill like SM and ESSM or Summoning Classes that don't benefit from Crit Smash.

Too bad petit cotd pets are unobtainable in DFOG now since Neople stuck them in expired boxes. Chances are if they bring them back they'll be nerfed just like the Hot Summer 2015 pets were because SMALL TEAM.

So should I just get gracia on literally every single class? I can see gracia being really good on skirmisher since it has a good deal of multihits but what about vanguard? What's a good set to aim for that would do well with a low amount of hits?

Gracia is a safe bet on every class. It gives like 120 Light Damage over 6 pieces and gives a 6% Light Elenore to boot. The procs aren't a huge portion of Gracia's damage, just a nice bonus.

Ghost Train is the other really major one. Ideally, you want something like the 3 accessories, the subequip, and the magic stone. Replace any piece with the shoulder if you want. It still needs a pretty good attack speed, though, for the Curse. You'll get about 60-70 Water damage and a 20% Elenore on Cursed enemies, and the accessory procs are fairly strong.

The big strength of Sea God is that it leaves 5 slots open, since you don't need to go for 6pc. For Epic Road, you are being incredibly un-optimal if you do it on an alt whose class you can't change.

This is the tier list:

CRUSADER TIER
M.Slayer - Berserker alone can use almost every 75-80 weapon, and likes a few 70 weapons. WM can also use almost every weapon (just not well) and anything left over, SB or Asura can use just fine. Slayer weapons in general are just OP.

GOOD TIER
F.Slayer - SM is in the same situation as Berserker, with bonus points for shit like Broken Destiny.
Priest - Exorcist can use any weapon but Crosses (just not well, Exorcist sucks ass). Crusader benefits from many of the crosses. Monk is less versatile than Exo but still fine.
M.Gunner - Mech has a few decent options. Ranger can grab a good swap weapon. Neil. Basically any 75-80 Epic is usable.

OKAY TIER
F.Gunner - The Autoguns are better for M.Mech than F.Mech, but 75-80 Epics are still solid. Ranger swap weapon.
F.Fighter - Nen can theoretically have Doppel Fist drop, Konistiger is good on F.Nen.
M.Fighter - Konigstiger is excellent for M.Nen. Louie's Rake is decent.

BAD TIER
Thief - Kunoichi is sort of happy with some of the Epic Chakras, I guess.
Demon Lancer - Only 2-3 good Epics, and only 2 weapon types instead of 4-5.
Knight - 2 weapon types. 2-3 good Epics.
Male
Mage - Solely for the Resonance swap.
F.Mage - All the epics are shit.

There are 155 possible Epics to drop

Assuming that there's an equal drop distribution ( not skewed like normally), then you have a 1/155 chance of dropping any given Epic.

Assuming a 10% droprate, it's 1 drop every 2 days, every day on the weekend. I heard that you averaged 1 drop per day for the event in Korea, so this might only be half of the actual droprate. That's a total of about 5 drops per week, so 20 for the month. That's 40 with Returnee or if it's a 20% droprate, and 80 with both returnee and a 20% droprate.

Here's a handy wolfram alpha link showing your chances of getting one of the epics you want given that you want x epics.

At 1 with a 10% droprate, it's about a 10% chance, 23% chance for a 20% droprate.

For 2 possible epics, it's about 20% or 40%. So this would be for like Mechanics or whatever who're fine with either the 75 or 80 Autogun.

For 5 possible epics, it's about 50% or 75%. This'd be for getting any 80 Epic for your base class. So a base M.Gunner or a Berserker or something.

For 10 epics, it's 70% or 90%. That'd be for a base M.Slayer or F.Slayer, getting any of the 75 or 80 Epics.

Anyways, here's the link, you can look at the numbers on your own. The pink curve is for a 20% droprate (one drop per day), the blue is a 10% droprate (one drop every other day).

Just make a list of all of the Epics you might want and then that's the number. So a Crusader might want one of the 4 support crosses, they'd look up 4. An M.Nen might want Konigstiger, Mana Mithril Bar, or Mana Reinforcement, they'd look up 3.

Also note that this assumes a uniform distribution. That is to say, all levels drop at the same rate. If the distribution isn't uniform, this calculation doesn't apply. I've been told the distribution is uniform, but it might not be.

This would literally be the most OP event ever if the Epics were account-bound. They wouldn't even need to have 75/80 Epics in the pool. You'd still end up with an account vault full of some of the best swap weapons in the game.

I feel a good compromise would be having an item in the event shop that allowed you to place 1 epic weapon in the account safe and it only counted on weapons that dropped from the event dungeon.

obviously this item would have a purchase limit of 1.
