Yes and no. You should be changing spots way more often meaning more time in recon mode. It's not supposed to have a lot of firepower either since it's called recon mode for a reason and the turret shits out a huge amount of DPS. He needs the more vulnerable recon form to be balanced. What could help him is making the transformation times faster and, this would work but would sound weird, increasing recon's base movement speed to that of Genji and Tracer. This would encourage and help Bastion players reposition more often.

Funny, I use that to kill reinhardts all the time by sticking a sonic arrow into their shields. Since the sonic arrow stays for a while, if he drops his shield too early, he takes damage from that sonic arrow. Usually only kills them when they're pretty low on health, though thats nothing a good scatter shot to the feet won't solve.

Probably the reason why I hardly ever play him since everything I do is cheap and makes me feel like garbage. Feels sort of similar to whenever I played McCree back when he was a tank destroyer.

I personally think it's a shit place to be balance wise because he really can't tank anything without the Zarya buffer.

I don't know how you could buff him to a better spot in pubs while NOT making him even more present in comp but I would prefer it to him being a wasted slot without certain combinations making him viable.

The problem is, Overwatch is very different from TF2 and the maps are really bad, there's no telling how a 5cp map in Overwatch would go.

And of course, Kaplan would try to put his own spin on the system to try and make it edgy and different.

Winston doesn't rape anything you fucking retard, do you play against children or something? If winston jumps a squishy hero, 90% of them has a movement skill and now they're way out of your reach or they have a way to disable you long before you stand any remote chance to kill them.

Not to mention that Winston is actually the squishiest hero in the game. You heard. Lots of shitters don't realize that bigger hitbox literally means less EHP. Unless the enemy team is a bunch of shitter and spread out way too much, you're never going to jump anyone that doesn't have most of their team still in LOS. This means the entire team is shooting you, and all of their shots are going to connect. You're gonna fucking melt.

Even winston in primal rage mode doesn't have that much EHP because he gets EVEN BIGGER. Compare his 1000hp to Bastion tank modes like 350 hp and Bastion in Tank Mode is vastly harder to kill, because he has a low profile and can actually hide behind things (and has an ulti that actually does something, which helps).

Winston is a fucking joke. There is no role that winston could possibly try that another hero doesn't vastly outperform him in.
