Well, FFRK isn't guilty of creating those images. Kazuko Shibuya has been a designer at Square since 1986 and made all the SD designs that the 2D era games were based on. IIRC, they made the 3D renders based on her sketches for the PS ports, though I could be wrong on that.

IX is a good game, but WAY overrated.

It has a great "main" theme, the concept of life and death, addressed in a very graceful and delicate manner - not cheap or overly cliché like many other games/movies do.

It has epic moments such as Alexander vs Bahamut and the assault of the silver dragons.

Great OST.

Generally, you don't need more than a full 99 stack of a material at a time, and you should probably notice the most needed awakening materials as you go (stuff like Litrock and Heaven's Ash).

If you've got more than one stack of the same material, you're generally okay to sell the smaller one and maybe skim off 25 of the 99x stack or something.

You might want to expand your slots to, like, 80 or whatever to accommodate the additional islands having new materials but you don't usually need to hold duplicates.

Depends of how new are you in the game. All these relics are old and most of them got powercreep'd by newer relics (all protect/shell+something SBs, for example). I guess you could pick some weapon for realm synergy or to have a reason to add a specific character to your main team, or pick a medica if you don't have one already.
But the best option is to not pull at all.

They're not that hard because of the amount of synergy you get. You just need lots of honed abilities because unlike most Ultimates where you just try to nuke the boss down, these normally have some gimmick that make the battle a bit longer.

RK has a lot more stamina, a lot higher costs on dungeons. Game is over a year old for global, so a lot to do. The gatcha is gear and the major grind is orbs for abilities. It's also more like an older FF with the battle system meaning you have to pay more attention to the combat.

BE has less energy currently and at a similar level you tend to get to do more for that energy. There's less content currently as it's only like two months old. The gatcha is characters and the major grind is materials for making new weapons, abilities, and upgrading characters. The combat isn't normal final fantasy and it's a bit of an easier pace not needing quite as much attention.
