I own a 1000 and a 2000, I far prefer the 2000.

Lighter, better battery life, easier to click buttons, better grip and texture on the back.

OLED screen is more vibrant, but has black blotches and sometimes overly saturated colors. The IPS screen is surprisingly vibrant for what it is, and the only thing that's noticeably worse are the viewing angles, but that's irrelevant on a handheld as it's right in front of you.

The pros of the 2000 far outweigh the 1000.

Would it be feasible to modify a PSP to accept a powerbank as a battery? I'd be removing the UMD port and as much of the back panel as possible, and then securing the powerbank to the back of the device. Idk, I just prefer it. It cramps up my hands less. I don't regret buying it. The OLED is nice to look at from time to time though, but the black blotches are annoying.

Some guy mentioned that some other guy's tool was stolen in major_tom's Twitter replies. I have not heard of any new tool that was supposedly stolen/leaked for quite a few weeks.

Took a look at his tweets and the replies to those, I'm guessing the vitamin dumper has stolen code from a tool he was working was. He quit the scene 1 hour after the team freek dump on 4chan happened, which supposedly has a "steroid.suprx" file. People are talking about stolen tools and major Tom cynically tweets about "little new devs" with a smiley face on it.
Also, yesterday another developer called st4rk tweeted about how messy the vita scene got. SMOKE replied saying that the problem was that "everyone was having fun".

It's just a guess. I could be totally wrong about this.

another guess would be that the 4chan leaker wasn't supposed to leak the dump, which has the suprx file, which can probably be used to dump the EBOOT.
