I've got a weird technical issue. Even though I have low ping (around 20ms) at crucial moments I get "other people's lags". For example I try to steal baron with smite. Baron is at around 600hp and I (with 20ms) try to smite it. Nothing happens. I mash smite a few more times and then baron dies to somebody else's smite a fraction of a second later. As if their command came in with higher latency but before mine. Same happens when I'm on very low hp and try to juke something, then die even though it missed me from my perspective. Anybody else have this issue? What do?

Rageblade and/or BotRK are probably going to be your best bets for damage. Definitely grab mercury treads for the Tenacity alone, and pile on as much as you can of that. Realistically Shyvana doesn't need to go faster when you have burnout, you need to not go slower. Get Deadman's Plate and tank up afterwards. The only way I've seen Shyvana successful is when she is hyper bruiser. Too much damage leaves her too brittle and without great gapclosers you just get gunned down too easy. Too much tank means that you're just running around smacking people with a pool noodle. Focus especially on your farm to leverage you ahead, as well as big TP plays to bot or Rift Herald, and especially abuse your passive early on where you can take an extra few hits where other champions cannot. Starting corruption potion and focusing on attrition in the lane will probably be for the best.

In high level play if the soraka knows that her getting hooked will make her team lose an objective and she has flash, she will never get hit by bad or good grab because she will just flash it. The better play is to try and predict the flash, in na soloq the soraka will need to prediction flash the windup animation because her ping is too high to reaction flash the throw. Your offensive items are mostly up to you, but you have to limit what you grab down to like, 1-2 items. Wit's End is the cheapest of a lot of options but also lackluster later on. If you think that you can get away with an aggressive buy early and are laning against an AP champion, then Wit's will work, especially in the early game when 42 is a lot more meaningful than later on. Other options on the table to look at would be Titanic, Ravenous, or Triforce.

Corruption potion is mostly there for the sustain, yes the mana is not ideal but I don't think that Doran's Blade would be a smart way when you're already swimming upstream. It's kind of theorycrafting anyway, so maybe Longsword 3 into an early vamp scepter is the best. But I definitely feel like you need to itemize some sort of early game sustain to really push the idea that you win through attrition. Better tanky stats, safe waveclear, light skirmishing where you can drop more spells.

Later on you can splitpush, or join up with your team and be a big guy. Mostly you're just going to sit on the front line as a detterant to assassins while having such high sustained damage and tankiness, that you'll dominate the frontlines. Alternatively you just charge at the enemy, even if they kite you, you buy your team space. People can't kite forever and eventually you'll chase them into a wall.

Even something like Teemo would be a huge issue for Shyvana. She just has so few options against ranged champions. Without any poke to really deter them, you should only, only pick Shyvana into another ranged champion. Otherwise you're going to be useless. You can try to just survive until you're level 6 and try to dragon slam them into a wall, but you should absolutely get crushed in every ranged matchup.
