Wasn't the problem with molten that it was "too easy" to play cheaply, but arcane is even easier to play and more classes can use it properly, except warlock.

Blizzard has some irrational decision making and it killed a unique deck for it.

I innovated by making an extreme ramp deck with druid. It shits on aggro unless they have like godhands steamrolls tempo and shits over any control. Ysharj barnes and fandral where the final touches. Barnes to aviana to ysera and ysharj.

People complained about it enough so it got nerfed, that's basically all there is to it. It's like a presidential election where you get some things you don't want but at least you get some things you do want too (like juggler and druid combo nerfs).

Honestly the biggest problem I have with the nerfs is how over the top they are. It really wouldn't be that hard to make these cards playable but not downright broken. Every time though, they take broken cards and turn them into unplayable garbage. Juggler is one of the few instances where it somewhat survived the process, but people often still pick flame juggler over it nowadays.

I think Blizzard would rather just erase the cards from existence rather than nerf it slightly and then later find it needs adjusting again.

It's a real shame, because as a digital game they have the ability to fine-tune things with granular control, but instead they avoid the shit out of it for some reason. Instead we have some mysterious entity that swoops in 8 months after a problem card has dominated the meta, and just plucks it out of the game forever.

Aggro beast druid is good against zoo.
Shamaniggers are all running maelstorm portal precisely because of zoo.
Hunter should still be fine, but grandmother helps him in that matchup and in all others.

Zoo is still good, but didn't get anything special from the new adventure while other decks got some fine anti-zoo tech. Maybe the new imp is going to push some new discard-oriented zoo, we'll see.

I'm a bit tired of Standard in all honesty, I think I'm just going to play Wild. Seems like it's both much easier to rank up (since I have all the cards because I played since naxx) and you get to see a much wider array of deck variety, a lot more creativity than Standard.

Thoughts? If I really want to meme it up I drop the creeper and belcher for scarab (more musters) and stand against darkness, but this is probably more competitive. Great against secret pally too though I haven't seen it as much as I thought I would.

If Camel is okay to the ends of getting spiders on the board, Barnes is probably fine too. I haven't played Wild in a couple of months but you should consider flare because of Paladins, Scientists and new potential new Druid memers running stealth. It's nice to be able to secure kills against mages by killing off the Ice Block.

Yeah, I always keep SW:D for Highmane and Tirion because having extra 3 mana left is crucial for that 2 hp hero power.

The problem with Death is sometimes I need to waste it on cheap minions that somehow get buffed to high attack value or are broken by design. If only I had another removal I could use on the expensive finishers, maybe my homebrew Death Priest would finally take me to rank 5.

If I were making that deck, I'd consider that dragons are big bodies with good battlecries (when you have dragons in hand), so it's beneficial to you to keep them alive and maintain board that way. Rather than doing the N'Zoth thing and clearing everything out.

With that in mind, I'd take out the massive clear and stall cards, as you'll be aiming to have a board with the dragons.
So take out Doomsayers, Pyro's, Solemn Vigil, one Equality and maybe Lightlord.
Probably add another Consort and other early dragon drops. Consider Faerie Dragon and Technician. Maybe an Ooze to stop the weapons clearing your early stuff.
