Eh, I don't think even Kalista deserves it. The problem is that Riot released champions with EXTREMELY overloaded kits back in 2013-2015. Kalista is unfortunately one of those said champions. And with champions like that, you either allow them to remain cancer or completely gut them due to their kit - there is no in-between.

But now it seems like they're learning their ways by created champions with overloaded kits that are in turn, held back from guttings due to blatant, glaring weaknesses (Jhin's lack of mobility + reload mechanic, ability to destroy Illaoi's tentacles with ease, Aurelion having no evade and being a sitting duck to assassins, Kled becoming minion creep-tier when he loses his mount, etc.)

It's the best way to make fun and viable champs down the line which won't result in nightmares for the balance team or the playerbase.

I always suggested when nerfing my favorite champion, remove the damage from his Q so it makes for a relocation-tool. This way all damage is focused on DPS as opposed to burst. In exchange add a few more numbers so his DPS isn't what it was before but definitely more forgiving than it was now.

Agreed, but I suspect that Riot intentionally guts champs to prolong this shitty meta cycle where they change things up for no real reason whatsover, other then to keep things "interesting" and "dynamic" for the playerbase. Hence why they don't listen to the playerbase or mains of certain champs, unfortunately.

But it seems like the playerbase is getting tired of their antics and just want balanced champions who aren't completely gutted on the brim. So it's possible they might rework gutted champions like Kalista and Azir because of it.

Draven is fun. He's as good as the player. Has a risky playstyle. Lucian's fun but only okay now. Still good if you can reliably secure leads with him. Twitch isn't that fun in my opinion but the better of the 3. Pretty good right now. Ezreal's really fun and got better. He does really well if you can play better than your opponent adc in my experience.

I played since the end of season one and used to do really well, stopped at the start of season four and came back when season six began. After doing shit for some time I got used to the meta and started doing really good again. But since about a month ago I fuck up every time in a similar pattern. Get engaged in early game trades that are very even and end up dying by an inch (say with enemy having 20hp) and then proceed to get snowballed to the ground. How to win those situations? Fights this close never happened before my break, you could tell the course without clenching buttcheeks and pick your fight. Whats the trick now?

I mean, if his Silence hitbox wasn't so fucked and the slow on his Q wasn't that much of a pain and his Feast's true damage had some arbitrary reason for it to proc true-damage on a target then yeah, he'd be alright.

Give him a stack passive like Darius except champions have to be pierced by his Vorpal Spikes x amount of times before true damage is procced by his ult. But it's always true damage on minions/monsters/epic monsters then it'd be tolerable.
