If you dont mind, how many normals have you played previously before attempting ranked? And a little advice if you continue in ranked, DO NOT treat them anything more like normal games. Be cute. Make goat jokes. Mash W on carry when they are getting touched in their nonozone. Try to heal whenever you manage to successfully land a starcall. It keeps you and your adc healthy

As soon as an enemy engages, use your silence zone on top of whoever on your team is getting jumped on. Frequently, this will be you so you will be placing it under yourself a lot. It stops casters and skill-oriented champs from murdering you and when the binding activates you just run away to safety and watch them get pummeled by your teammates. If someone is chasing you, place it underneath or behind you. If timed right, they will walk over it right when it binds and you can get to safety.If you are being chased and have some distance, keep slapping them with Q. It will slow them down, heal you, and speed you up but the second it takes to cast may let them close in and get you.

Mash your ult button when: someone gets really low and they are far away or you are getting jumped on and you are scared you're about to die. Better to slam the global heal button as your last dying breath than to die without contributing at all whatsoever to a teamfight. When in a fight, make yourself annoying. starcall and silence zone and poke them with your autos. A lot of people will change targets to a tasty, noisy soraka and get the pressure off of your adc a little so he can heal from your starcall-enfused heals.

Skill order goes: Heal, Starcall, Starcall, Heal, Silence zone, Ult, then max starcall and heal in that order.

I always go for a zzrots after sightstone. The splitpushing is miraculously useful and the extra speed around towers and armor/resist has saved me a number of times.

Started league o' legends two months ago. Gold 1. I wanted diamond but this is harder than I thought it'd be.

Ok I just started playing again after a break from pre season 4 and I need to get this shit off my chest. Like WTF guys. This game used to be fun and people were shits, but the characters were at least unique enough from each other(besides some) and I could at least enjoy a game. But now every single role builds exactly the same and all the characters act the same. And the graphics went from OK for a mid 2000's game to shit. People are even worse now taunting those emblems or whatever after they do anything. It's fucking frustrating. Everyone is just a skillshot q, w buff or debuff, e is an escape, and the ult is a power up or large projectile, sometimes both. This is inconsistent in its thinking but I'm just going insane. This game went to shit.

Autistic Jinx main here. Sorry m8 Jinx is shit. She is suppose to be a Hypercarry, so bad laning is a given. However her late game is also shit. She gets out traded by everyone except EZ. Her saving grace is team fight against clumped targets, but that only works when enemy team is stupid, and has no hard divers. Her latest buff is not very meaningful. R is only useful for long range execute.


Nothing feels more demoralizing than getting chased by enemy ADC who you destroyed in lane. Because they all know they can 1v1 a Jinx, even when she has a moderate gold lead.

You're saying this champ, who was bottom 5 ADC's last patch, is now top 3-4 because of that? You're fucking delusional, it's more likely from people playing freshly nerfed ADC's and playing Ez due to the buffs, a good matchup for Jinx.

Exactly this happened to me. Overwatch came out, i played it for a whole month, all the time. I basically left league behind in my mind, but after a while, i just wanted to go back. I have no idea what riot did with the game that it's so incredibly addicting and fun to go back to, but they did a really good job. I sort of expected it to end like this though. Your argument is that having more choices/variability in play makes a champion harder, my argument is that having more choices/variability in play means you have more options that are viable and thus its easier to be successful.

Having a simple predictable champion is extremely challenging to do well with consistently because your fighting champions that have far more options/variability and you have less options. Further more your less/easier to land options are often less rewarding than the objectively easy to land "skillshots" of many of those champions.
