How to fix Symmetra (based on analysis of interactions with other heroes):

- She primarily needs to feel more like an actual support. Her shields now, instead of simply giving +25 shields, turn half of the character's base health and armor into shields. This essentially turns her into an AoE healer, but differentiates from Lucio by not requiring LoS, proximity, or even being alive. This is balanced by the fact that only half the health can be regenerated after not taking any damage for 3 seconds and at an average pace. This combos well with characters that have base armor (Bastion, Winston, Rein, D.Va) and is an indirect buff to Torbjorn's Armor Packs, but combos poorly with characters that have base shields (Zen, Zarya, Sym), average for the rest. Not to mention the warnings when her shields break now actually mean something.
- Additionally, for those that think the shields should be a passive and the skill be more active, you could use it to instantly restore all shields you provide your team with a, say, 15sec cooldown (may vary depending on effectiveness) (stacked Symmetras still fully restore everyone's shields, but, as stated earlier, the Symmetras themselves get very little out of it).
- Replace her dumb shields provided/uptime card with a health regenerated from shields one.
- Turrets now have 40 HP each. This prevents them from being destroyed from things like stray D.Va/Reaper fire 30m away or a McCree flashbang, but are still easy to take out with a Winston, Junkrat, Pharah and can be individually shot down by most of the cast.

I went 20/6 as lucio and healed 7400 points. Playing against level 78~ while being level 10. Pretty sure people just suck at healing and dpsing. It's easy as heck.

She can absorb almost every offense ult on command. If a D.Va is around you can pretty much never use your ult, which can be extremely detrimental in a game, because even if you time it well or are in a good position the D.Va will always be ready to absorb it. This is why the Defense Matrix nerf was 100% justified, D.Va main tears aside.

Not only that, but her Defense Matrix is ridiculously good as a barrier too. It doesn't die immediately to Junkrat or Bastion hits like Reinhardt's and she can protect herself much easier with it while still doing damage to people.

Her damage is also still better than Winston's, the claim that her DPS is the worst is just more D.Va main propaganda.

Having a second life is also very good for contesting points, and it allows her to get away from situations much easier than the other tanks, especially when combined with infinite matrix and flying.

Speaking of flying, it allows her to be a giant pest, bum rushing into people to kill them, an extremely annoying event.

Her ult isn't even that bad anymore when used in the right situations, plus it gives her a free suit when the first dies.

D.Va is pretty much up there with Zarya in terms of usefulness.
