The aggro version that just runs a shitload of beasts and double warden steamrolls everything that can't clear your board efficiently or race you, but is helpless in other cases.

The ramp version that plays more cycle and teachers is slower, but can actually come back from a board clear into a big taunt.

Both die to aggro shaman.

I switched to Bogchamp and got lucky aganst final match to get to 10 verses an arcane giant combo warrior. Control shaman feels really strong Killing combo decks like rez priest and murloc paladin and c'thun feelsngood

I started recording those stats yesterday on the deck tracker.

I faced a decent amount of hunters in the last 4 days (when I started climbing from rank 10).
For me it was the other way around, I was struggling with Hunter because I faced some warlocks and I kept getting MEME'd by the Ressurect Priest.

Against Warriors, the matches that I lost as Zoo he had just 1 or 2 cards in hand at the end, with my hunter I would either destroy the warrior or he would make me run out of steam and win the game with 4+ cards in hand. I found zoo to be more consistent at the moment.

You will usually be against players with an identical win record for the current arena. so if you're at 1 win 0 losses you will be against a player with 1 win and 0 losses. When you get to 11-0 or something rare like that you may well be matched against 11-1 record players or 10-0 players though since there won't be many 11-0s around.

Only real question I have on cardbacks is whether to use the legend cardback (looks like shit and makes you look insecure so probably not, even though I guess it might intimidate some people), pirates cardback (looks amazing, oldest cardback I have), or heroic LoE cardback (also looks amazing, much more recent cardback but it's something I had to actually earn instead of it just being given to me).

You just had to get lucky iirc, also LoE is the best looking heroic card back of all time. Karazhan just looks fabulously gay and Naxx looks like someone blew a loogie on a dead guy or some shit. BRM is just kinda meh, it's bland and unexciting, the purple and grey really don't go well together (the pre-order cardback for it though is still top tier though, the molten one, even if people think you're a faggot for pre-ordering).

But yeah I like the Pirates one too, mostly because it shows how long I've been playing the game for and it looks so damn sexy. No replacement for Twilight Guardians. You could run a Nefarian or Ysera instead of Ragnaros as your big guy. Lightlord doesn't really have a replacement but you could try Ivory Knights in the deck. Dragon Paladin feels a lot like the older Midrange Paladin deck where you're as late game oriented as midrange gets

honestly what most people need to do is stop seeing their losses and start seeing their winrates. a 70-30 matchup is quite a good one, if you're 70-30 against rexxar in hunter meta you're pretty set in terms of ranking, but that still means almost 1 in 3 games will involve you getting highmaned to death or something bullshit like that. It doesn't mean you did anything wrong during the game or at the deck selection screen. Just keep playing and your true winrate will reassert itself.

People who are stuck at low ranks don't play the game enough, so each loss and victory means more to them and tilt happens.

Play more frquently and if you're good, your win rate will even out. If you maintain a 60% win rate for example, that's plenty to rank up with. Still means you lose 4 out of 10 games though

Haven't beaten Naxx and BRM. Playing f2p, so when Naxx came out doing Heroics was pretty much impossible with my limited cardpool. And I've never gotten all of BRM. Right now I'm getting my shit kicked in by Rafaam 2 and I'm not quite sure what to do. Druid is a jack of all trades class by design
its centered around versatility which means it never matches up super favorably but never super poorly either
in this sense Druid is probably the most balanced class in the game which is a valuable thing in its own way in this type of game

It revolves around a few summoning cards that give excellent value when evolved.
Pantry Spider + Evolve can be two 4 mana minions on turn 3 with coin, or turn 4 without it.
It can be a 5 mana and a 3 mana minion on turn 4 or 5.
A 4 and 2 mana minion on 3 or 4.
Thanks to the Nerubian and something from below, you can easily get 7 mana minion for 1 mana.

And even without evolve and master of evolution, it's still a decent deck that can keep you alive for quite a few turns until you draw them.

And no matter what your deck is, if you don't draw anything you can play for the first few turns and don't get your win condition, you've probably lost.

Honestly it's not that unusual to catch up even from having zero board presence, just because evolve is so cheap. You have two high-value minions that get cheaper as the game goes on, two-for-one spiders, brann and barnes. A lot you can do from hand from T4 to T8.
