I've been thinking about this for a while, would it be possible to upload vpk files as jpg or mp3 so that the vita can download them directly from a website? Then all we would have to do is rename them back to vpk on molecular shell.

I just tried this and uploaded a vpk renamed to jpg and mp3 to google drive and tried to download via the internet browser on the vita but it didn't work. If we find a way to do that then it would be possible to put all of the homebrews into a website that we can download directly on our vitas for maximum comfort.

So what do the new developments in the Vita scene mean?
Just pirated games, or is the vita opening up for more homebrew?

There is so much wrong, I won't go into detail, but looking at the metacritic, I see two games on the vita have a score above 90, and both ar ports. The 3DS has 6, only two of which are ports, and both are remakes, not straight ports like the vita ones.
And just because Nintendo is a japanese company does not make their games weeaboo. And the fact that he can only find three 3DS weeaboo games (one of which isn't even) just proves that it isn't a weeaboo machine.
I also love the way he implies that the only shovelware Vita games are on the PSMobile, ignoring the many that are in the store proper and included in that number.
It is a better machine for indie games, but that's about it. And the Binding of Isaac section is hilarious in hindsight.
The fact is the 3DS has more and better exclusives, which can be seen in the upcoming titles section, where 90% of the Vita games are ports or multiplats

So my PSV is actually activated and linked to an account but in Settings/PSN it always says "Not signed in" and offers to sign in.
Installed the Xanadu leak, got 2-3 trophies, uninstalled, enabled wi-fi, connected to a network. Trophies didn't sync. Is it safe to just stay like this? Was this only a problem when 3.60 was the latest OFW or what?

The moonlight application for Vita is surprisingly good so far, but desperately needs some method to change the control mappings in a config file or something. By default L2 and R2, or the triggers on your 360 pad, are mapped to the back touchpad, which is fucking terrible to play any third person shooter, or GTA style game if it doesn't let you change it in the game options, which many don't.

Both consoles have vastly different game libraries but neither of those libraries is "shit" because you don't like the games in them.

I personally prefer the vitas library due to its high abundance of JRPG's and rhythm games but I do still own a 3ds which I play on from time to time. Most 3ds games don't appeal to me as much but that doesn't mean the library is shit.

Gota quick question, I'm on the latest version of Luma and I wanted to update my Arm9loaderhax and I realised I had a few problems.

I can't boot any menu by holding start on boot (Thus meaning I can't boot Hourglass9 or anything else for that matter)
and I also saw that I can't boot on my emuNAND at all.
When I boot a software like Decrypt9 from my HBL it just goes back to the HBL menu without doing anything.

(Just for more info, I did the Pailect guide when it was in its beginnings and I was curious if I needed to updated anything and saw I could update my arm9loaderhax, is it even necessary at all?)

you need the kernel inside the SD for it to boot. the SD that goes inside the cart by the way, just in case you're mentally challenged.

odd thing is that the icon should appear regardless. where did you get it from? what's the date on the label? could be the contacts, try putting a small piece of paper in between the shell to give the contacts a boost and make sure it's actually connecting to the 3DS.

Hey guys disclaimer that I'm a huge drooling idiot and need my hand held through some of this. Having said that:

I just got my New 3DS XL using Luma/a9lh on 9.2. I've done all the hard stuff and have gotten to a point where I can install games through FBI. My problem is that some games hang on the New 3DS logo when booting. Older games boot, but new games like Bravely Second and MH Generations get stuck, I'm guessing it's because my system is still on 9.2. How do I update my firmware or trick the game into booting without bricking my system?
