I don't understand why lone druid exists as a hero in dota, he is straight up from a different game, a hero that doesn't do anything and instead relies on a pet to do it. I hate that everquest shit. Have never once voluntarily picked him and the only game I have with him in my history is an all-random game that was no stats recorded.

TA is because I never played/learned her until she was already in the dumpster.

It's really nothing like Aphotic Shield, I designed it specifically to only be superficially similar.
It doesn't purge or deal any damage, and it's a bit stronger of a shield.

KotL's blinding light was a design inspiration. You can make use of it earlier and it doesn't rely on his ult being up, but it's not as long lasting or as strong a blind. I was thinking about replacing Spark with an ability that disarms and slows, but that would change her from a defensive hero to an offensive hero with defensive abilities and that's conflicting design.

Also I didn't realize Treant used to have a passive. How long ago are we talking about that being his passive?

I play Dota 2 because I'm a foot fetishist

When I saw the first screenshots of dota 2 with Lina in them. I instantly knew it was my type of game. I used to play League of Legends, but didn't like it very much because of the lack of barefoot female champions there. Janna looked like she could be my type of champion, but unfortunately she has so ugly long feet it isn't even funny. Then there was Riven, but her sandals ruined any appeal for me.

Dota 2, on the other hand, Immediately drew my attention as the game that put a lot of detail into the things I like.

My favourite hero in dota 2 is obviously Lina. Her appearance, clothes and, most imprtantly, her feet are perfect. I play Lina very often, but I must admit I sometimes lose focus in early game when I get a ***** after looking at her feet on the selection screen after I pick her.

My second favourite hero is Mirana, if Lina's feet ignite my desire, Mirana's soft and pleasant looking toes warm my heart and give feeling of innocence and tenderness. I also like how Mirana shoots her bow, tightening her legs around her mighty tiger. Sometimes it gives me a hard on.

I like Windrunner, but I have to say that her feet are not so good in comparison to my two favourites, but I fancy her anyway. It seems that Windrunner runs a lot so her feet must be very tough on the soles. She is still cool though.

I don't know if Death Prophets feet are good or not because I couldn't see them no matter how hard I tried to rotate her model.

Speaking of lost potential, I patiantly watied for Luna to be released, expecting her to be barefoot since she has a common theme with Mirana and my irish ex-girlfriend had pretty amazing feet. Unfortunately, I was disappointed.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the future dota 2 developments and I hope there will be more beutiful barefoot female heroes. Valve did an amazing job for people like me and I'm going to play and support this game however I can.

Things like that are bound to happen on a 5 tier system, the more difficulty ranks you have the more room for precision you have, just think about difficult as being anywhere from 60 to 80 on a scale of 100, wd is a 60 but Tinker is an 80, never the less, both still fall under the umbrella range as "difficult"

I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion, valve can just keep making immortals or shitty sets while keeping the drop rate of the rare drops at .5%.

The chance will probably be even lower, there's only 3025 really rare items. And seeing as how each compendium owner gets three chests valve will have to make the drop rate quite high

Also 9 minute Mek lmao, this is some ridiculous jungle clear. I even got fucked with double Hellbear and had to go back to fountain to heal. Still had super fast jungle clear and levels.

I think Underlord is only viable in a position where he gets solo levels though. Everything he has is super shitty without levels. Pit of Malice is probably his most useful spell just for your team to combo off of. But it's so bad at level 1. It's really not good until level 3, and he wants Firestorm and Passive before Pit just so he can actually do damage and zone hard.

Jungle solo off or mid, he's definitely not a support and he's got too many flaws to be a carry.

How to pick good heroes in Dota 2

Picking good heroes in Dota 2 is an important way for a person to improve at the game.
This may seem surprising to you, as you may have thought that picking easy or high winrate heroes is better.
This can not be farther from the truth. Picking Omniknight in every game you play ranked is NOT going to make a better player.
Perhaps it will lead to slow improvement as you improve with the hero in general, but it will not lead to growth as a player.
Furthermore, picking weak heroes will actually make you a worse player, rather than a better one. This is assuming you can deal with the frustration of playing bad heroes.
So let me explain how you can choose good heroes.


1. Begin by looking at the most recent major tournaments in the current patch of the game.
At the time of posting this, the Internation 6 is the most recent tournament on the current major patch, 6.88.

2. Look at the most played heroes in this tournament. NOT the most banned, or the combined or score. ONLY the most played.
The TI6 had the following heroes as most played: Batrider, Facless Void, Timbersaw, Vengeful Spirit, Disruptor, Elder Titan, Mirana, Beastmaster, Earth Spirit, Oracle, Slardar

3. Once you have your most played heroes of a major tournament, proceed to evaluate them based on winrate.
Timbersaw, Mirana, Faceless Void, Elder Titan, Juggernaut, and Slardar. These heroes had amazing performances in this tournament.

4. From these heroes, pick the ones that you like to play, or the ones that fit the roles you intend to fill.
Timbersaw, Mirana, and Slardar are the heroes that fit my playstyle best. I will choose these three.

5. Play games with just these heroes, optimizing and learning them with each game.
Eventually you will be able to carry games and lead to more victories. That is, if you deserve those victories.

In the end, no guide will ever mend the simple fact that if you are a bad player, you will not gain MMR.
