We would like to announce that certain skills will be re-balanced due to changes in game mechanics.

The combined use of these certain skills had allowed players to deal much more damage than intended under certain circumstances.

They will be adjusted to meet original game design intentions.

The skills that will be affected due to the re-balanced are the following.
Joint Penalty
Hangman's Knot
Magic Missile

[Adjustment specifications]

Additional attacks will no longer be possible against other monsters that are bound by Joint Penalty. Only the initial monster will receive additional attacks against from skills even though the damage from those attacks will still be registered to the other monsters.

※ Please note that certain aspects of the re-balancing may change as a result of continued refinement.

Adjustment details will be re-mentioned in patchnotes prior to the change which is scheduled to happen during the month of September.

The issue I have with Linker3 is that it's only capable of 1-shotting beefy mobs if there are specifically 6-10 of them.

If you link 5 mobs and use MM, you wont kill them and run around like a retard waiting for MM to come off cd again

If you encounter 11 mobs you can only link 10 leaving a straggler that you literally can't do shit about since you have no ST damage.

Going Archer to Quarrel then back to Archer 2 lets you get some more skills in your rotation before heading into later and better ranks.

After playing in arena fairly well I've realized my builds weakness as Wiz3Thauma2Necro2

It's not the Thauma2 but the Necro2

It's probably better to take warlock with link or with the HP scaling allahuh akbar skill even feather food will pose a big threat during transpose

I still don't like Lolipans Thaum3 and I rather take 1 rank in Linker instead. But that's personal preference, since you get alot more HP from transposing with swell brain it might be not bad anymore to take Thauma3 and then follow it up with featherfoot since it synergizes with max hp.

You can definitely go with linker2 thauma instead of linker1thauma2

But in reality the difference is extremely minor between linker1 and linker2
Especially if you can farm yourself a Dandel gem

Meanwhile Thauma2 gives you FREE Reversi which is really good for PvE too
You will also get Swell Right Arm which minimizes monster damage by alot

And in case you do want to dabble in PvP the build is really good too because Reversi and long Transpose times

It's more like "I don't want to spend ranks 6 through 8 and only get a grand total of 66 Magic Amp." That's good enough for the goys paying for that shit second-hand but that's it.

Never trust public builds. Most of them are complete trash. Read the skills description and watch vids to see if they're multihit or not yourself. Think about synergy between skills and classes, about uptime of buffs and weapon to not lock yourself out of half of your skills unless you constantly swap. Steady aim has garbage uptime, meanwhile wugu poisons are literally cast and forget. You can pretty much think of it as like a 60-100k nuke on a 25 second cd.

The difference from +10% vs +20% for 10 seconds is so negligeable, just pick up steady aim 5 for the nice +100 damage attribute and 10% damage increase, the additional scaling of steady aim is pure horse shit and so are the new skills you get with R3.

Yeah, but wugu poison is just supplementary damage, you still have all the aoe damage from your SR3.

Think about it this way, you're pretty much just trading spiral arrow and bounce arrow for wugong gu, needle blow, and zhendu. The gameplay is virtually the same as R3 except you just have more DoT damage in your rotation.

When monsters have hundreds of thousands of HP, poisons will be next to useless since they don't scale well. Steady Aim might seem bad now, but later on as base skill damage rises (and especially with multi hits for a class like SR), it will only shine more and more!

Steady Aim's 10 second duration means you can only use it with retreat shot/forward shot, and it pretty much locks you into only having Retreat Shot + Forward shot as your big aoe clearers.

By going Wugu2 it gives you a 3rd ability to clear aoe which you can fit into your rotation. It also makes an SR's single target damage significantly more powerful, which is going to be useful for things like Guild Raids in the future.

I agree a class like wugu3 isn't all that great since that's pretty much the only thing you have going for you, but having wugu2 as just secondary damage while having SR3 as primary damage is way better than going all in on steady aim.
