Yorick's rework has been revealed, his new abilities have been shown so what are your thoughts about it.

Without knowing his scaling, his abilities are pretty neat. He seems like a very decent duelist and a pusher. His W seems pretty strong and is really useful when your teammate tries to gank your lane.

One thing that seems to be what he isn't good at is regarding teamfights. Aside from his W, I don't think he'll contribute that much unless he has some ghouls.

The only thing I want to know is the duration of his ghouls. I know they decay if they are far from him or his maiden but I want to know if they decay at all if they are near to him.

I find tons of champs and play styles that I can play well at in an environment that's more team oriented, but everything sub d2 is just a fucking mess.Carry conditions are so fucking inconsistatnt. Some games you can shitrek games on an individual level and it's enough, sometimes with the exact same relative performance you cant.

Yeah, ranked is a mess. OW for me is about the pinnacle of ranked systems. Takes about a week to a month of play to get to the top of the ladder depending on game time played, games are short, win streaks actually matter, loss streaks actually matter, individual contribution directly impacts your rank in how much you loose and gain. Meanwhile league uses an unmodified ELO+MMR system that has 0 variables, and requires endlessly more game time, win streaking does fuckall unless you can start skipping divisions with an abnormally high mmr.

Each division takes 25 wins to get out of, assuming you dont rank skip. That's about 15-17 hours, dropped to about 8-12 if you start skipping. If you have a 100% winrate. In reality, it'll likely take about 20 hours of play per divison on a high elo player boosting a smurf. That's an absurd amount of time, and even then, you have players who climb at a snail's pace at 55% winrate, you may as well not play at all.
