once you go through the opening to the chasm from the cave, go to the left. there will be 2 platform squares, go to the lowest and farthest to the left. theres a step up on the platform that sometimes breaks stride but if you hit it right you should be able to sprint from the wall to the right corner of the platform. run right off, fall a bit, use a jump, fall a bit, use a jump then land on the corner of the chasm wall.

sometimes you can die on impact because of bungie physics though.

Weapon perks and weapons themselves.
I've never had an Eyasluna or Grasp of Malok and after using Oversouls for the first time, I realized how stupid the archetype is, but I'm never going to grind for either gun. On top of the guns being RNG, perks on them is another layer of RNG. All that adds together to make a fun, uncompetitive game. That doesn't mean tryharding is worthless, it just means there won't be a competitive scene.

The problem might stem to if someone sets the controls to HANDCANNONS ONLY, what happens if a player joins and has no handcannon?

As the game is right now, if a player spawns with NO PRIMARY WEAPON they wield a stock auto rifle (pic related), which wouldn't make sense for the gameplay.

And if the gametype would just gift everyone a stock handcannon, which would it give you? What would be fair?
