I'm actually not done with the island yet. I drew out how I wanted it to look like visually and it's almost there. I'm actually trying to avoid too much vertical because I wanted it to look like it was ripped off from a larger piece of land, for the lore I've written for it. I'm trying to make it look weird purposely heh.
