I got the script compilation error when ever I tried to start up the with all the better body mods(Ciri, Yen, Shani, Triss). I thought it might have been Reworked or STLM but it started working as soon as I uninstalled companions.

Sidenote: I love how the dlc option is just to decide if Triss has pubes or not.

If you are using Spawn Companion mod from Nexus, I would suggest to check out this mod instead, it is by far the best companion mod out there. It only has Triss and Ciri, but the options are the best. You can talk to Triss any time you want and even give her a kiss. I also never had problems using it with other mods.

I never install anything with nexus mod manager, this mod isn't even on Nexus, so could be your issue, but I really don't know. The installation couldn't be simpler, just copy modCompanion folder to the mods folder in your TW3 install directory and you're done. Personally I never had any issues with this mod, but maybe it's just conflicting with some other mods you have.

I actually think Triss and Geralt complement each other perfectly, Triss brings out that sweet romantic side of him that is so rare and refreshing to see. There are some sweet scenes with Geralt and Triss left later on in the game.

With Yen, you have cool banters, and it's more of a straight to the point kind of romance. Both ladies are lovely, and have some sweet and memorable scenes. You can have sex on the unicorn with Yen without ruining Triss romance, just don't tell them both you love them.

I'm not sure about the achievements, but if you want to change to Yen, these are the commands you need:

I really enjoy her sarcastic remarks and wit, the way I play the game she is a fun ex wife, although she can get really pissed if you go to far in some dialogues, but I won't spoil it for you.

You need both, although the DLC part only affects B&W. No texture or character replacement mods should affect the companion mod. It should work fine with the mods you listed.

The error has something to do with being in the mods folder. I deleted the Dlc part and that did not help but when I removed the Mod part the second part of the mod worked(putting Ciri, Dandelion, and Triss at the vineyard).

So I just got the achievement for completing all Witcher contracts and I'm not even done with the Skellige quest yet! I'm currently level 25 and the highest level one was the Archgriffin at 35, which was way too easy. Have to say, that's extremely disappointing. I was hoping for some really hardcore endgame-tier contracts after I hit level cap. :^(

Remember when this series sold itself as morally gray? Remember the main choice of the first witcher game? How both the elves and the order of the flaming rose had good and bad sides and there were arguments to be made for both sides?

So I read that the oil/alchemy mechanics in TW3 are pretty fucked. Will I hate myself if I try to do something more focused on that? It was a very weird tonal shift from pretty serious drama over to silly B-movie. You can't transition from sisters murdering each other out of jealousy and then move onto a supervillain that wants to save the world with EVIL SCIENCE.

I thought the factions was a cop-out too. There was real nuance and you could definitely see where the other side was coming from.

I was very conflicted when I sided with the non-humans and heard them talk about killing humans just out of petty revenge. But when that started to wrap up in chapter V the order moved from being slightly racist but ultimately just wanted to keep peace and order to kill every non-human because they are scum.

It just became a black and white choice at that point and they never forced the player to acknowledge the bad shit the elves did.

They have a unique animations system that does everything automatically, they have predefined emotions and guys who do cutscenes just assign them to character models based on the situation. There are video online when they explain how exactly does it work, I'm no expert.

But whatever they did, they did it good, in a game like this it means a lot for immersion when you have characters that convey emotions realistically. I really like what they did with Triss, all the major characters are very well done.

The only thing that bothers me are the recycled NPC faces. Whenever I see this guy's face, I want smack my monitor.

Imagine Ciri accidentally bringing someone from the futuristic worlds she visited back to the Continent. Imagine that same man either modernizing one of the kingdoms or being burned by the Church of the Eternal Fire for what they assume is witchcraft.

Triss happens to see that, and is clearly not pleased, but she brushes it off, that is not a moment to make a scene. I actually like the scene, even though I'm a huge Triss fan. Cyberpunk will probably be the first game to outclass Crysis 3 in faces unless CDPR holds back on graphics. TW3 was rendered with only basic tech so the characters don't look that good but the art design, especially the eyes, puts it way up there.

I was just looking for areas I haven't seen before and I ran into this port that was infested with Alghouls but there wasn't an an icon next to it on the map

Right next to it there was a beatiful detailed fort infested with alghouls. Once I cleaned that up Nilfgaardians moved in, and started using the pier, there was a shil there they were unloading crates, and the time changed to dusk which looked beatiful
