You need to aim an AoE using an actual CC class. With the cards, you can auto-target people(which is possible regardless of desyncs), perpetually reapply the debuffs WHILE doing damage, and any class can use it(obviously, some make much better use of it than others). It's broken as hell and just perpetuates the perma-CC based PvP we have right now.

What is Wizards bug?

To be fair, I don't feel like wizards ever SHOULD have been the kings of damage. Wizards are for utility, they do too much other shit. This is the class with sleep, link, millions of freezes, summons, haste, quicken, stop, you name it. I'm a wizard player (wiz3 wizard no less) but I still think this is how it was supposed to be.

You can check it with lvl 1 circling and lvl 2 circling on small mobs. AoE skills has bigger AoE when used on negative mobs. Multishot, Claymore, Jincan Goo.

Barbarians however were always just something you add in the current meta for more burst and stuns, r8 however has a huge damage hike that the r8 classes are well prepared for with or without barb

so in the end it goes like this, once r8 comes, your barbarian skills would all be for Stuns, the damage would be negligible

Hl 3 skills get nothing from fencer 3 and they are locked into piercing attack, so only cross guard wich sux with high Dex builds. And epee stance demands high Dex builds. Skull swing is useless because fencer already has attack coquille, bleeding is a joke that can't crit so no epee stance bonus. Skyliner is weaker than cleave nos after the last changes and again, no epee bonus. A crit from composee vs a cloth mobs (-50%) with epee stance deals more damage than a crit from skyliner in the same cloth mob (+50%), this assuming that they bleed.

New Warcry scales with monster's level, with 10 lv 130 mobs you get 330+130 attack already. Pure physical attack bonus that goes into your character stats window and get amped by epee stance. 50% uptime.

Rodelero at least brings a few true utilities. So forget Highlander forever.
Highlander 3 is only, only for doppels except if you want to skull swing for others.

Another options are corsair, pelt 1 (evasion taunt synergizes with Warcry), hl 1, sword 3 for a possible PvP, hoplite 2 with pardoner and etc, but the r8 content slayer is pelt 1 barb3.

I have a lv 4 circling falconer anxI can confirm that the magic missile madness only happened with divine might on dungeons. Tested vs a mob of demon prison 2 with lv 3 and nothing happened, later that day with circling 4 and when divine might was on, elememers magic missile fps killing magic happened. I have to go back to my fees to test more but my elememer friend give up already

Other skills works fine like circling 4 + multishot.

I'm afraid that with current epee stance, you want to crit as much as possible, so nearly full Dex with some con and a lot of critical rate gems and gear.
Maybe str is dead for fencers.

Some mathfag can help with this, but maybe a mix of Dex and str like 3:1 still works because of the last str buffs and +70% from the rank up (r8).

Is there such a thing as tanking in this game? Looking at classes, I see healers and buffers, summoners , trappers and stuff, but I don't think I see any actual tanks that taunt and all that.
