What's the most exciting thing for you to do in the new game?
Personally I can't wait to see what all the new augmentations can do.
I'd also like to test loud and lethal way of solving problems this time around. Since we're getting a new game plus option, I could always try and get things right in the next playthrough.

Never played the first Deus Ex and i just finished Human Revolution two days ago. The ending was so moronic, Eliza asks you to choose an ending with no other input, literally all choices leading up to it did not matter. Other than that the game was pretty good. Also cheesed the shit out of the final boss, the Zhao lady. Shot her with the laser rifle through the glass.

I'm Czech and kinda pissed at the terrible job translating they did.

Most of the posters/paintings/decoration assets with text are probably just ran through google translate and make no fucking sense

Just translate the random assets (posters, notices, newspaper) written in Czech in the game properly

For example these should say "Seat" in czech, but instead they say "Sídlo" which is a word for a mansion or a domicile.

Very hard to tell, it has DENUVO so don't expect to play it very soon.

Rise of the Tomb Raider and Doom were both "cracked" a couple weeks ago. I'm not sure how fully they broke DENUVO open and it's hard to say how similar DE:MK's implemented version could be. Could be soon (unlikely but who knows), could be several weeks to a month or so (not impossible, more likely if their talk about DENUVO isn't entirely bullshit and/or it's not a radically different version number), or it could be the standard timespan for a major title which has ranged from several to many months (think like 8).

I just tried playing the original Deus Ex for the first time and did it not hold up well?
I got into the statue of liberty and died to a turret I didn't see, but even up to that point this didn't really seem like it was that great. It had awkward controls, stealth wasn't very clear, and at the same time it discouraged running/gunning with low ammo and health. Is the main draw the narrative or something? Is it just a cult game that got popular at Human Revolution?

Probably on some level most people recognize they didn't go crazy on purpose, but what happened still proved how dangerous they can be and how easily they can be taken advantage of to cause harm, whether they want to or not. My laptop does pretty well with the Nvidia 940M it has installed and it's only a year old at most. It's able to do everything else fine. Why the fucking hell do studios still do in-game cut scenes anyway? The player can't do anything in them, so why not just do pre-rendered FPP cut scenes instead?

my game keeps freezing/getting really choppy for a split/few seconds then resuming back to 60fps. tried it on lowest medium high and custom fucking around with the settings. seems i just keep getting these bad fps jump cuts out of nowhere for no reason. also my loading screens/death screens freeze/take 5-10 seconds to show up options. same deal with opening inventory etc or pressing ESC

I average 33fps on high quality settings and 45fps on low

Enjoying the fuck out of it so far. Playing on the 3rd difficulty(highest wasn't unlocked yet), it's fairly challenging. I've spent a lot of hours exploring shit and hacking and whatnot. The way they set up the augments this time is pretty neat. The new augs are really cool too, but the usual ones seem better save for a few, at least for my playstyle.

Overall it's pretty much what I was expecting, HR v2. The story is pretty good so far, better than Jenson's "muh megan!" and hearing Sarif saying "but Adaaaaaam" every cutscene.

I enjoy the game but I do have one question.

Just got back from Golem City and I'm wondering when the FUCK crazy doc is gonna call me to shove this neuroplasty thing in my brain so I don't have to switch off shit. I'm not using the targeting marking thing and the rebreather right now so they're disabled but I went and picked up the thing so I wouldn't have to disable shit.

Been playing this for 25 hours straight and I'm so, SO fucking sick of that subway.
They made this whole huge part of the city completely seamless, but just had to add that tiny bit which requires a loading screen for some reason. Oh, and let's not forget about sending the player from one part of the city to another. Over and over. Over and over. Over. And. Over. OVER. AND. OVER.
Otherwise the game is perfect, for now I give it a solid 9.5/10.
