Alright. Summary time. I'm going to spoiler all of these, because all four characters went their own way, and until they plan to tell the others what happened, nobody should have any knowledge of what their teammates did. First, Arata's day:

Arata had quite a busy day. First on his list was to head back to Usui, his clan lord. Usui was a little surprised to see him, but set aside time for him nonetheless. Arata quickly caught him up on his previous two missions, with Usui listening quietly and asking questions here and there. He didn't see too upset about the botched Land of Soy mission, but seems perturbed that Naruto was able to let several mission request simply bypass him. Once the report was done, Usui gave Arata a mission: long ago, there had been a man, a legend, called Orochimaru. That man had interactions with Naruto several times throughout his life, and Usui wanted Arata to gather information about him. There was no specific timeline on the mission, he simply wanted Arata to learn more about the man. With that, Usui dismissed Arata.

From there, Arata went to Higashi 87. Assisstant-kun recognised him, and got the masks for him as soon as Arata entered the store. He paid the other 450 Ryo, and was informed that, while the masks had a lifetime warranty on the airborne toxins, there was no warranty covering chakra-laced toxins, since nobody can accurately predict how strong they'd be. He did say that it would stop 'most' of them, though. It was about this time that Renya wandered in and told him that Tenten wanted to see him, over at the weapons shop. They chatted for a bit (that I couldn't see, because IRC doesn't allow more than two people in a private chat), and then parted ways.

Arata went to Tenten's store, and learned that she had showed his kunai with chain to the artisans of the Land of Iron...and none of them had any clue how the motor drive work, or how the tensile strength of the chain was so high. There were able to pull it apart more than Tenten was able to, but all they were able to find was a small, snow-white snarling wolfshead insignia, a craftsman's mark. None of the artisans knew of anybody who used that mark, and so they once again hit a dead end when it came to just WHERE this thing was from, and WHY it was found in a cavern run by bandits and scrub ninja. After extracting a promise from Arata for him to return, should he find anything, he left. Just outside, Naruto met him. Explaining that he was a Shadow Clone, he said that Renya had requested the team meet at Ichiraku, and Naruto had offered to send out a Shadow Clone to look for the team. Acknowledging the request, the clone disappeared, and Arata headed off toward Ichiraku.

That is where Arata's day ended. Approximate time: 1pm-2pm, Day One.

Fugetsu's day:

After shouting to Waniko that he was heading south to get more training, Fugetsu wandered the five or so hours to see Kokuou, to ask if there was any training he could work on while he was away. While surprised to see him, Kokuou agreed that it was a good idea, and suggested he continue with his swordsmanship, where possible. After giving some thought to more Boil Release training, Kokuou smiled slyly and told Fugetsu to run back to Konoha, and get some balloons and rubber balls, and then come back.

After the ten hour round trip - making it rather late - Fugetsu returned with the required items. After telling Fugetsu to turn around for a second, Kokuou tells him what to do - fill a balloon with water, and attempt to spin his chakra counter-clockwise in his palm, attempting to bust the balloon open. After two hours - and a slightly above average chakra test in Roll20 - Fugetsu manages to pull it off, exploding the balloon and drenching him with water. Kokuou nods, and tells him to try again, to make sure it wasn't a fluke. The second time, Fugetsu manages to get it within minutes, and Kokuou nods at the balloons remains.

With darkness closing in, Kokuou called that day's training over, and proceeded to explain what Fugetsu will be doing while away - he was to progress to a rubber ball, and attempt to burst it, and then to an air filled balloon, where he must attempt NOT to burst it open. He then told Fugetsu that, while he didn't expect him to be able to do it, he could then add his Boil Release chakra into the rotation. After Fugetsu thanked Kokuou for his instruction, Kokuou, slightly embarrassed, admits that he didn't create the technique - it was the Hokage's signature attack, the Rasengan.

With Fugetsu about to leave, Kokuou offers him to stay for the night out there, if, he said, Fugetsu wasn't scared of being uncomfortable for a night. Fugetsu decided to stay, much to Kokuou's delight, and several hours were passed by Kokuou quietly talking to Fugetsu by the fire, regaling him with incredible stories of the Tailed Beast's past. Stories of wars he's seen, of wars he's fought in, and in the centuries before the Tailed Beasts were sealed and used as weapons, heroes he fought alongside. He talked about his siblings, the other Tailed Beasts, and in glowing terms of Naruto, the one person to, perhaps, change their collective view of humans.

His tone turned sombre, and he talked about his father, the Sage of the Six Paths, and his siblings, the Tailed Beasts. He talked about the loss and sadness he felt at Hagoromo's passing, and the fear he felt as he first came into the world, with nothing but his eight brothers and sisters. Before Fugetsu knew it, it was past midnight, and Kokuou told him to get some sleep, requesting that he not spread the stories he was just told lightly. Fugetsu mentioned that it was strange to be trained by a Tailed Beast, and Kokuou agreed that not everyone got to be trained by someone with millennia of experience. Fugetsu said he couldn't even imagine what it was like, being that old, and Kokou told him that the time spent sealed was the worst time of his thousand-year-long life. He said that the Tailed Beasts are raw, primal chakra, not meant to be tamed and controlled. It was rare for a Tailed Beast to be happy within a Jinchuuriki. Fugetsu went to sleep, and the next day, headed back to Konoha. Not knowing where the others are, he decided to head to the training grounds, and get a head start on his Rasengan training.

That's where Fugetsu finished. Approximate time: midday, Day Two.

Renya's day:

First on Renya's list was to see Tenten, also with the idea of getting training to complete while away on their mission. Happily for Tenten, he paid his debt for the first sealing lesson, and then asked for training to perform while away, and also to buy some supplies. He asked about explosive seals, to which Tenten noted he was really set on them. Tenten asked his Nature Affinity, and was curious upon being told that it was Wind. She said that, as a rule of thumb, Fire Release users are the best at sealing explosive tags, with Water Release users being the worst, and she wondered what would happen if Renya was, at a later point, able to seal some of his Wind Release chakra into an explosive seal alongside the explosion.

Tenten theorised it could possibly add razor sharp winds to the shockwave of the explosion, but she didn't really know for certain. Ending that train of thought, she said that Renya was still a little way off learning explosive tags, and that he wouldn't be learning them in the store when he did. She also wondered if she should get him to sign a waiver, absolving her of wrongdoing if he exploded himself while under her care. While he was there, he purchased another 20 explosive tags for 300 Ryo, enough for five each for him and his teammates. He clearly forgot that two of them STILL have most of their explosive tags from Mission III. Renya was surprised at the low price, but Tenten grinned Jewishly and said not to worry about it, since if he actually managed to make Razor Wind Explosive Seals, she could easily sell them for three times as much.

Paying for the seals, he asked Tenten if there was anything he should do for for training while away. She gives it some thought, and, mirroring Kokuou, said that he should certainly continue his weapons training. Getting a brainwave, she quickly draws up five seal designs, and writes down the name of three books. She tells him to go to the Konoha library and to get out the three books. The seals she wrote are part of the Quick Release Elemental Sealing Method - a pretty high-level technique that allows a user to instantly seal almost any elemental technique in combat, IF they can get the correct sealing scroll out fast enough.

As Renya says goodbye, Tenten asks him to send Arata her way, regarding his weapon and the craftsmen from the Land of Iron. Renya says he will, and heads to Higashi 87. This is where the private conversation took place between the two of them. With Arata not knowing where Waniko is, Renya heads to Naruto's office, on the off-chance that he knows where his teammates are.

It turns out that Naruto did NOT know where Renya's teammates were, but offered to send out a Shadow Clone to round them up and get them to head to Ichiraku. Renya was very thankful, and headed out, likely to Ichiraku now and await his teammates.

End of Renya's day. Approximate time: 1pm-2pm, Day One.

Waniko's day:
Waniko had very little to do, so she decided that now was a good a time as ever to continue the training that she had started with Kakashi, doing a solo ghost run through Konoha, attempting to remain unseen as much as possible. She discovers it's actually more difficult than usual, as more people are up and about by now. By the end of it, she was panting hard, but was almost certain not a single person saw her. Looking around, she saw a group of three men break off from the crowd and head down an alleyway, after a young, teenage girl.

Waniko decided to follow them, just in case, and flowed through the crowd like water. Her instincts were spot on, and the three men were rapidly approaching the still-unaware girl. Thinking, correctly, that straight-up exploding these guys would look bad, Waniko threw a kunai past the head of one, embedding it halfway up the blade into the wall past them. The girl turned around and saw the men, and then men turned around and saw Waniko. The girl, understandable, screamed and ran off, with the men now converging on Waniko.

It was fisticuffs time. Waniko decided to go for incapacitate, rather than kill, and launched a Water Release: Swirling Spear Jutsu at them. Gathering a ball of water above her head, three spears of water lanced out at the men, hitting two, with one throwing himself aside to avoid it. One of the ones that was hit was immediately launched backwards into the wall, cracking the concrete and slumping down, unconscious, with the other taking a blow to the chest, in bad shape, but still up.

The two standing men decide to move in and attack. Both of them miss their attacks, with the wounded one getting in the way of the other, with Waniko almost playfully skipping back, easily bypassing them. Not having her Naginata on her, Waniko went for the next best thing, flashing down her Iron Claws and getting to work. She lands a crit, causing something like 14 damage. Despite her best attempt and not being a fucking psychopath, she lunges forward and catches the undamaged man in the chest, careful to bypass his heart, but feeling his ribs shatter and his lungs get punctured. She makes a clean pull, being aware not to slash outwards to the side. The man will survive...if he's brought to a medic, soon. As expected, the other man ran off.

Rolling to see if there was a police officer nearby, and turning out that there wasn't, Waniko headed to the police station to report the altercation. She was almost immediately put into a holding cell, pending investigation, because holy shit who just goes into a police station and says "I nearly killed two men."? After what felt like a few hours, Naruto (or a Shadow Clone of him, not that she knew that) appeared, looking more disheartened than she had ever seen him, simply asking "Waniko...what have you done?"

Waniko seemed remarkably unrepentant, simply saying that she might've taken it 'a bit too far' with the 'scumbags'. Naruto informed her that Sakura was trying to save the man's life, and if she doesn't, it will be a murder. He asked if she even understood how this looked to others, and that he had already been asked if Waniko was part of his 'private police'. It begun to sink in, and Waniko apologised, saying she'd accept the punishment, and that it wouldn't happen again. Naruto asked what she was thinking, using the claws like that, before sighing, and saying her teammates were waiting for her at Ichiraku, and disappearing.

As she heads outside, she notices Sasuke leaning against the doorframe to the cop shop. He mentions her breaking down in front of the Uchiha gates, her seeming connection to the murderer, and her pull towards Old Noxian, before nearly murdering two men. Waniko sighed and agreed that it had been a bad couple of days. Sasuke shrugged, and said the only mistake she made was telling the police, since now that man will be back on the street within weeks. His parting advice was to not feel guilty over the fact of doing something, and to be more sure of herself. Waniko, understandably, was a bit shocked, considering before now, his only words to her had been 'Pitiful' and 'Still pitiful'. Shaking herself, she decided to head to Ichiraku to meet her teammates.

End of Waniko's day. Approximate time, 1pm-2pm, Day One.

So as of now, it looks like only Fugetsu will miss the meet up, since he's...elsewhere. He'll need to be filled in later.

The problem with Akatsuki-Naruto is that there are so many fucking ways how it could work, hell it could start out as him trying to create a UN thing to abolish countries altogether, people stop listening, he cracks AFTER the fact (Naruto isn't actually mentally stable, ever, he just gets to the point where he's strong enough to push through anyway), Hinata thinks Naruto is in the right and slowly moves extreme.
Look at what happened to Konan after Yahiko died, she was just clinging to what she had left. If Naruto moved extreme only slowly then he might not even realize what he's doing is different until it's specifically pointed out to him, same with Hinata, and both of them might think of themselves as justified or try to sweep it under the rug to make themselves feel better. You can't just change where a character is and decide 'ok everything else is the same', you have to decide what exactly was different.

I'm a massive Hinatafag, but even I very heavily doubt she could, at that age, have willed herself to reach out to Nardo.
If she did manage it, they could have been a great influence on one another much earlier on, and prevented most of the series ever happening.

Then she would still have lost to Neji, he still would have tried to kill her after she bruises his ego if nothing else, and Naruto would have fucking brutalised him in their match one of my favourite parts of Team 8 is how Naruto, being much closer to Hinata, deals with her injury and how he handles his match with Neji coming from all that.

Since Naruto always hangs out with Hinata, no or far lesser bullshit bond of Sasuke, who doesn't get as booty bothered. He either still turns traitor but it's handled like being a regular turncoat, or sticks around, tries to kill Itachi at some point and gets his ass handed to him.

Both Nardo and Hinata, from an early innocent friendship bond would probably find it much harder to approach the other in a legit sexual/romantic way, it might still take them some heavy shit to properly get together.
