You can use this website to create your own DA World History by bringing over your choices from the previous games. You need an Origin account.

Are you an EA employee?
>>152464148
EA has no employees, only emotionless androids programmed for maximum profit.

people literally get mad when you try to talk about video games here

Ignore the shitposters
Is Arcanum fun? I've never played it
>>152465262
It's pretty fun if you manage to get into it, but it starts very slowly, looks dated, and is full of bugs and situations you can't complete unless you prepare beforehand. It's like less polished FO1-2
>>152465373
>came out in 2001
>less polished than FO1
How is that even possible?
>>152465262
It's great if you don't start off with a technologist gunslinger on your first playthrough. That build requires a fair deal of prior knowledge to work.
Also I'd suggest disabling turn based combat.

Polish is about development time divided by number of features and mechanics you tried to implement, not year of release.
>>152465929
Older games tend to be more archaic than newer ones, regardless of development time
>>152465679
The gray/brown palette suits FO1 because of its post-apocalyptic setting but looks like crap in a fantasy/steampunk game
>>152440070
They honestly did a decent job of provoking an emotional response in ME3. If the ending had been better thought out, it could've been that way too

Dude, what? Victorian London was entirely gray/brown due to all the smog.
The game is colorful when it needs to be.
>>152469015
I think there might be a large chunk of people who think all fantasy movies/games should be LOTR-tier colorful and full of whimsy.. as opposed to the varying shades of freshly lain turd that's the more realistic color scheme of medieval Europe.

>Victorian London
>medieval Europe

I loved the dreary atmosphere in the first Witcher. It was the first fantasy game I played that actually looked and felt like medieval Europe.
Then the second Witcher set it's first act in a magic elven forest with giant trees and I was disappointed.

I was using the time frame as a not really related example because I half-ass paid attention to what I was responding to.
