Any tips for enjoying leveling DoH? Im in the early 50s now with a solid gear set, but I cant bring myself to level them even with leves. Everything feels like it requires 2x as many mats. I have the DoL leveled and geared for it, but am I destined to spend entire days gathering just to level each a few levels or are there better options? I dont just wanna passively wait for moogle quests.

there's no "best" class (job), they all have pros and cons
black mage comes with insane single target burst damage, decent aoe and infinite mp but it has next to no mobility, as any step you take is a dps loss
summoner is a lot more mobile and is the undisputed king of aoe, but it needs a lot of time to set up its burst and its single target damage isn't so great anyway
you can also run out of mp and getting rezzed after dying is a pain in the dick if aetherflow isn't off CD

I think they're both pretty fun. MCH is a lot easier to use and its whole rotation feels like every skill is working together, but it's also the most simple and boring class outside of its big damage spikes, and it feels real bad when you're not familiar with a fight and something fucks up your timings. BRD feels like all your skills are fighting each other, because they sort of are, and there's a lot of little judgement calls and second-guessing yourself until you get really comfortable with it, but in a lot of ways it's more versatile than MCH and it's satisfying once you get to the point where you can actually play it efficiently.

The armor itself is functional with simple yet pleasing stylistic touches it's not over the top or entirely mundane, however I can agree with the paint, if they had more of a glossy finish rather than a matte one it would look far better, the metallic dyes look okay on it but the best color over all would probably be Jet black.
