Start new loka until you can get their sydicate quests and then farm as many seeds as possible. Get a seed collection that towers over everyone elses until you have a collection that can go from the lowest new loka rank to max. Then start on Steel Meridan, max them and then spend all your seeds.

This is my theoretical build; she's still in the oven right now. I've been disenchanted with QT lately after being stunlocked into death so much in places I'd otherwise survive, mostly on low energy pool frames. Only thing going without QT scares me about is toxin procs, but having Vitality as my insurance instead means I'm not stuck in a stagger unable to cast my buffs watching my energy drain to 0.

in fact, it's probably overkill. You can replace Intensify or Transient Fortitude or Vitality for better survivability (Mesa is one of the few frames where Vit is good)

I wouldn't recommend QT because Mesa has massive energy issues depending on how much you use PM. I use PM a lot, and I'm rarely above 50% energy

This really seems a little unrealistic to me. We don't need to go 60min+ in T4S, and probably won't face "broken" scaling high level content like that anymore, so why overkill by 500% on sorties? This is more about the state of the game than the build itself, but it's why I'm not trying to build for PURE damage.

And are you sure completely dumping range is worth it? Assuming I'm only 1/10th as good as you, and want survivability and utility that Shatter Shield and Ballistic Battery respectively offer, how much range does the former need to actively deflect any projectiles coming your way? And a little more reach on the latter seems like a nice way to avoid being OHKO'd by a melee enemy that sneaks up behind you, or drop down into a crowd and PM them all before they finish staggering.

I've never played her yet so I really don't know what it's like in execution, but I'd like to hear more about how that works.

was thinking about the 1shotability of everything. we just got the specters of the rail update on console, and it dawned upon me that there is no longer a reason to be able to 1 shot a level 100 heavy gunner or survive solo in endless game modes, now that relics are a thing.

raids even become useless since they can easily be finished with junk, to get rewards that will only add a bit more damage or significant benefit if you're already doing insane damage or facing powerful enemies.... but now there isnt a reason to be in a situation where that damage matters. everything is easily earned by facing enemies that are easily 1 shot with nothing special necessary.

trying to think of an analogy, and the only thing that makes sense is minecraft and mining diamond. the point used to be managing resources to effectively get down to it and deal with the unique problems of the location. you need the right picaxe, a few shovels, buckets of water in case of lava, an ass load of torches cause its dark, a sword/bow/arrows to fight enemies, spare wood and coal just in case. there was a process and steps that needed to be taken to effectively mine diamond. and what DE did, is make Diamond fall from trees. now you dont need any of the methods, the pics, water, weapons, the hours it took to get the stuff together and prepare to the process... just take your fist and punch leaves.

where is the fun or sense of earning it in that?

I don't think you understand how Mesa's abilities work. Shatter Shield and BB doesn't give you any utility. BB is completely worthless. SS gives you damage reduction and isn't affected by range in any way.

The ONLY ability that benefits from range is Shooting Gallery, which extends the range on the weapon jam. Some people like it, I think the """"""""""CC"""""""""" is fucking worthless. If you're worried about melee units, a minimum-range Shooting Gallery still works perfectly well against melee units.

So I just tried it out on the Redeemer and either the card itself is broken or it doesn't like the Redeemer; None of the combo strings actually work and whatever I try just ends up doing the default dance combo. I'm not defending fissures by any means, they run on the flawed assumption that we consider solar map missions worth running in the first place, with the fissure as a bonus, but no we only run them to open our relic, and since that's boring as shit just killing enemies -- or previously a glorified excavation -- it doesn't work. I don't know how boring a person you'd have to be to think the previous void was a good system. If anything, you just like the familiarity of the skinner box.

What we fucking need for endgame is a non-retarded raid system and actually difficult bosses that reward us with stuff we actually want. LoR's 4 person MINIMUM to avoid failure and fucked up pressure plate "cooperation" is bullshit. Give us monster fights like Lost Planet or Monster Hunter.
