I think the most annoying thing about the R8 is that it's perfectly fine for a variety of pistols to be in the game, each serving their own purpose

Like, a low ammo, high damage, fire slow for accuracy pistol would be a great complement to the fairly balanced glock usps/p2k starters, the p250 as an upgrade for them, cz as an auto pistol and the dualies as a spam frenzy but low damage

If there was no deagle, the R8 would be brilliant. But as it stands, valve went and designed and tested (for maybe like 30 seconds giving how it was at release) a low capacity, high damage, slow firing pistol when there's already one in the game.

What space does the R8 fill? What's it's purpose? And how long did valve spend dicking around making it when they could've been doing something else?

As far as I can tell even a fucking scoped pistol would've been better, at least that's something that's not already in the game

Okay /csgog/ my keyboard is starting to run out of steam. The enter key is slipping out of its socket, and I'm afraid that more keys might follow suit.
