I didn't expect any of this, I was already shocked when a fucking fighter jet flew to Soushichi and he started to use it as a weapon. I don't know how I feel about the 4 choices thing. It's one of the things I didn't really like about princess evangile. I would rather be put into a route based on the decisions I make, but almost every decision in pe just forced you to do the same thing anyway.

I think I understand it now.
It's not that the Vn can't find the AYA_H.WAR file, the problem is that it cannot read the file. the VN folder has two files with the same name, but one has the added bit .old.
I tried remaning it, replacing the other .WAR file and the video played normally, but untranslated.
Shut off the program before I got spoiled, but I got the gist of it now.
The translated version of the video won't play, simple as that.

I totally didn't shed a single tear during this whole VN, not a single one, nope. Ending 1 was a little disappointing action-wise, but it was still good due to the little talk with Kuki at the end. I also liked how they went and visited the old man who helped them at the very beginning,just as they had promised.
Yatagarasu being Suzu's father was one hell of a bombshell, I suppose it was so obvious that it couldn't be seen.
The whole story was chuuni as heck, but it was still a great read.

Canonicity is a very rough topic in general, because you got things like Sonic 06 which became "non-canon" only after it received overwhelming backlash compared to something like Operation Raccoon City which before being released was specifically stated to be "Non-canon"

So unless the reissued version makes notable changes to the plot or storyline wherein the "directors" confirmed before or during release of the original, I don't believe you can "mulligan" your way out of that.

I would definitely recommend studying Tolkein's extended Middle-Earth universe as described in the Silmarillion. They are not that different actually, what was removed is mostly some stuff about SS (not actually imprortant for the story), and if I remember correctly, in Acta est Fabula there's a few words about Odessa, also not really that important. The interesting fact is, there are side stories in Amantes Amentes, and in Wehrwolf Samael speaks about how swastika should be remebered as a symbol of fear and terror, and it wasn't changed from the drama-cd version. I wonder if they would change it for the steam version.
Well, anyway I would probably recommend to read Amantes Amentes, additional scenes, Three Colours, and the side stories, especially Wehrwolf and Die Morgendämmerung, are actually worth it.
