If it didn't consume crits while you were disguised it would be fine, especially because you could spam re-disguise to prevent yourself from consuming crits when you don't need to.

to play devils advocate, random crits probably make the game a lot more fun for new players.
It may be the main reason they get any kills at all but the alternative is them getting completely destroyed by people with thousands of hours or resorting to using sentries to get kills for them.
I think the best thing to do would give everyone the option to turn random crits off for themselves. I normally feel bad getting a bullshit crit on someone and I imagine a lot of people feel the same. It would reduce the number of crits in the game and then you can call everyone who doesn't disable them a shitter.

I dunno, but expect the Pyro update to be weapons that are literally pre-nerf axetinguisher and pre-nerf degreaser, just with different downsides.

And now I will describe in detail the process of walking from spawn to the enemies intelligence room on Turbine.
First, I make my way through our vents. I check behind me after passing the first right path for spies. Pro Tip: That's a good place for spies to hide in wait for clueless players to backstab.
After exiting the vents I walk down the stairs to the right. I choose these stairs because more often then not there are snipers to the left that have an easier time of sniping me as I pass before them.
After reaching the bottom of the stair case, I move closer to the enemy exit door and walk along the wall towards the left hallway. This path ensures that any enemies exiting and looking straight ahead will continue along towards our intel and leave me unscathed.
Now the next part is the hardest part of our journey to the enemies intel: Walking down the left hall. It is the z shaped hallway on Turbine.
The most common enemies and hazards in this left hall are sentry guns placed on the upper health kit ledge and snipers camping the first bend. How you deal with this I'll leave to your imagination.
Alas, as you make your way into the intelligence room, be on the look out for more sentry guns in the center of the room. This is a spot most engineers love to build on because of the sight lines it provides the sentry gun to the three doorways leading into the intelligence room.
And that's pretty much all there is to capturing the intelligence on Turbine. Thank you for reading. You can find more descriptions like these only on /tf2g/.

See, Medic's job is to heal.
Not to go out and get frags with a syringe gun or saw, it's to be a key supporting target of the team that can help others by keeping them alive, using overheal to give an advantage in fights, and ubercharges to push or to turn around a bad situation.
The Crusader's Crossbow makes Medic's job easier by allowing ranged and burst heals. Even crossbowing a guy at close range can get them back on their feet a bit quicker if they can't wait for crit heals.
That being said, the other syringe guns don't provide the effectiveness of other weapons in the game even when retreating, and most of the time, if you're out and about with any syringe gun without a teammate nearby, you're going to die and get outdamaged. Crossbow's inverse damage falloff makes it so that when you do shoot somebody at a range that you can probably do 75 at most, which works well if you see an enemy blast jumping or in the sky and you predict his arc. If your attacker is nearby, then you have a melee that can get uber on hit to punish that.

I dunno the exact term for it, but it's basically a revolving userbase. As people get older, they have less and less time/patience for 4chan, and then new, younger blood comes in, and it causes a disconnect between the new users and the old users. And most of the time the old users just up and leave instead of fighting a losing battle. They go to forums or Facebook groups, or Reddit and leave childish things like 4chan behind.

The question was asking if there was a way to remove the medigun beam. That would mean having a medigun equipped and in use but the beam would either be invisible or hidden. Or seeing other medigun beams belonging to other players. In either case, there is no way to hide or remove the particles or anything to remove the medigun beam. The beam is in the game. The beam is permanent. Other players are going to play medic and when they do there will be a beam.
