Besides finding her personality grating as fuck and thinking she's probably the most annoying character in the game, DVa is also the one that seems the most out of place. I can get over the premise with the military using pro-gamers to run mechs, but we're still talking about the military .... as in conflict, as in killing people and/or omnics.

There not a single line of hers that she belongs in the military or anywhere near a battlefield.

Yeah they did do something. They made the game feel less shit.

Hanzo/Mei needed faster projectiles/less delay on their shots. The reason they are unreliable isn't because the projectiles are too small, it's because the projectiles move too slow, so you literally have to guess "left-right-stay" when you aim on someone because you can't lead your projectiles based on what you see.

Learn to position your Recalls. Always make a note of where you were 3 seconds ago so you don't accidentally Recall into a fight, or right in front of the enemy.

Don't engage unless you have at least 2 blinks ready and a 3rd half into it's CD. When you do engage, don't fall into the trap of trying to unload your entire clip. Tracer needs to poke, and if your target knows you're coming you can die very quickly, so blink away, reload then try again.

Trace can blink in any direction, even if she isn't facing it. Make use of peaking around corners, with it for quick escapes or ambushes.

Keep in mind were health packs are. If you blink past a health pack, you will pick it up. If you're in a fight with someone and you're nearing a health pack, let yourself get a bit of chip damage to deny them the heal. You're faster than them.

And yes, she can be. You'll play her in largely the same role as when playing offense: go deeo, poke, GTFO. It'll be a little more difficult to get to their supports when playing defense, but you can do some damage certainly.

KOTH is perfect for Tracer, since the maps are small and largely flat, you can traverse them better than any other hero to harass the enemy, and contest almost as long as a skilled Lucio.

To reiterate my point, I want to point out that not only have healing been extremely powerful all the time in this game, but they are also powercreeping the shit out of healing with each update.

It took me about 8 hours to start seeing results. I spent alot of time dying, and had to relearn tracking (the last PC fps I played before this was TF2, ~6 years ago), and fucked with the sensitivity settings a lot.

I don't know if it helped at all, but I was playing on a Razer Orochi (mini-gaming mouse, I wasn't doing much PC gaming before overwatch, needed a mouse actually to develop a html5 game), and now I picked up a g502. Again not sure if it helped because I got to rank 60 on my shitty mouse.

I think the most important part of learning, I realized, was learning the maps. Pharah + Aerial superiority means escapes are pretty easy (Shift or Concuss Blast), nor does Pharah really have to flank (and if I did flank with her I picked obvious routes).

Learning the maps well enough that I could blink backwards through rarely used doorways helped my escapes.

Lastly, I've learned that 150hp is nothing. Ive died more to Lucio in the ~2 hours I started using Tracer, vs the ~200 hours I have playing OW.

According to their stats, Defense heroes are widely represented in Gameplay.

Buffing Heroes like Bastion, Mei or Torby would cause a lot of Rage of new players and buffing them too much would make them extremely frustrating to fight against due to their mechanics.

I think the truth about dva is a tone darker.

Huefag here, which is also a region with a low playerbase. This week the queue times are considerably slower, and i think it started even before ranked went down.

It used to be 1 to 2 minutes, but now it's guaranteed a minimum of 2 mins and a lot of times goes over 3min. 3min seems to be the "fuck you, just go to a match already" because often enough i get into a match right at 2:59. I only had such shitty times a few weeks prior to ranked release, then after that it went to 1 to 2 minutes. I'm almost sure they're messing with matchmaking rules but not mentioning it.
