The current Carnival guarantees a Pooh, Piglet, or Owl Medal. The Owl Medal is by far the worst of the three.
Paine and Olette are farmable Story Medals, so pulling them is useless since you can get them for free if you're willing to put in effort.
Abu is so bad that he's become a meme.
Vivi would be okay, but he's outclassed by Pooh or Piglet which you should have gotten instead.
Musketeer Goofy is pretty good for a beginner, but is outclassed later unless you can Guilt him.

You will be able to transfer all your Avatar Parts from χ[chi] after service closes (I believe the date is Sept. 8). So make sure you've done Avatar Link.
If you aren't playing χ[chi], there's an Avatar Draw event going on which will make it easy to stock up on tons of parts, even if you're just starting a fresh file.

GBF is the one that was called out on gacha tactics a year ago, as I recall. They are certainly struggle to keep my interest, I'm pretty sick of Unchained by now. The only things this game does better than χ[chi] is the possibility to repeat missions (if you really want to do that) and the fighting mechanics, but these get watered down a lot lately and probably will get worse in the future.
In my opinion they close the game that feels more like a Kingdom Hearts title, there is a lot missing sure, but I had more fun with it.

I say Olympia since I was able to beat most ore quests due to olympia.
Starlight part 3 and 4 and olympia part 4, were accomplished through buff stacking, BC mickey with Atk boost II, Sora A with Atk Boost II guilted, and a helpful friend medal like the one ur using.

No the medal is garbage and only usable in japan because of the ability cost down effect they got earlier. Even then it's still pretty garbage. Maybe someday having a medal with all three effects will be useful but I assume an epic/premium medal will be out to out preform it.

It probably wouldn't work out even if it made it into the game. A lot of the movie's humor relied on quick delivery accompanied by fast animation and instant scene changes. These are all characteristics of Western animation, whereas Eastern animation relies more on wit arising from slow and steafy dialogue delivery.
In short, think of how awkward Mushu was portrayed in KH2. Now imagine a whole world like that.
