Practice

Start with someone mechanically simple like tank junglers (mummy, zac, etc) or warwick.

You should usually be able to clear your whole jungle from bot side to top. Focus on doing this correctly and then change it up once you've learned it.

You would change up your routes depending on likelihood of invades or ganking a lane at some point.

The thing you'll pick up is that you should pretty much always be looking at your map and each lane to assess their gankability.

You also need to keep in mind the enemy jungler's location and warn your lanes if you think they're particularly gankable or divable.

It's your job to secure objectives (towers, epic monsters) and provide a mobile source of vision. This means, for example, when there's an infernal drake up and it's 15 minutes in you need to BE THERE and not be ganking top.

You're gonna have to deal with invades and flaming, that's part of being a jungler.

For invades there are certain champions that are particularly good at it, so you need to be aware. Their general objectives are either to kill you or steal a buff. You can either start a buff to prevent it being stolen or be somewhere else, preferably in their jungle.

For flaming there's this handy mute button. I suggest muting everyone in the game if you make a particularly bad fuckup, especially early on.

If you have no clue on how to jungle, Nidalee is pretty much the WORST champion you can start with. She actually requires some finesse, not just to gank and stuff but also to actually get the most out of her clear. Just grab one of the usual beginner junglers and learn the strategy and thinking of a jungler. Stuff like Amumu, Warwick, Xin Zhao, etc.

Focuses are
-Snowballing lanes by ganking and giving them advantages (be it kills, wasting the enemy's summoner spells, or just in general intimidating them and lowering their health)
-Taking objectives, as a rule of thumb inhibitors > baron > towers > dragon > buffs >scuttle crabs (some may disagree with me on the exact order, but more or less). Learn to play around timers by being there before they spawn and always prepare an area with wards and vision control a bit earlier.
-Farming well your own jungle. Basically you should always try to clear in a straight line, from top to bottom or from bottom to top, since that usually means once you finish one side the other will respawn soon and you can gank, grab crabs or counterjungle in the meantime.
-Counterjungle, this one depends a bit more on what jungler you're playing (do NOT try it on Amumu) but it's always a good thing to do as long as your lanes are doing well and you've got enough vision and mobility to escape once you start to get surrounded.

Play low mechanics champions, there's no need to play high skill ceiling shit basically ever, but especially in low ELO. If you want to get good, then play mid top. I fucking hate mid, so I can't give any advice there at all, but shit like Garen, Cho-Gath, even Teemo are fantastic picks in a lot of low ELO matchups. A lot of top picks also are relatively low-mild-medium mechanics required like J4, Pantheon, Legvana, Xin, Jax, Maokai, Nautilus, Poppy, Warwick, the list goes on and on.

Unlike in fighting games, you've got this team of retards that sometimes are going to fucking anchor you, and sometimes you're going to find Gregor that basically shoves you into 2nd gear while hard carrying. Most games that's not going to happen. I don't get carried very often. I find strong players and I play well with them, but there are extremely few games where I'm being outright carried like the literal garbage I am. If mechanics really are holding you back, grinding out games is going to iron them out eventually. It's nearly impossible to play a champion 100-200 times and have massive mechanical problems with them unless it's like, Shaco, lee sin, something at the highest skill floor.

Just go fucking play something. Mix it up, try new champions. Maybe you just need a new/better roster

bot/jungle are main roles and yeah that can be a bit of a problem. when i do get top/mid i usually pick annie, teemo, tryndamere or garen and jax in the jungle. i just biff it so much when it comes down to reacting to things, like the game has to go off without a hitch or its over. honestly the hardest part isnt even related to my team feeding like i see most people complain about. its that they just dont really take anything after team fights and run around in the jungle or just die for free until one team locks the other in this checkmate position at 45 minutes that you couldnt possibly fuck up.
