The problem with having a frontline tank that doesn't have is shield is the enemy team will be getting ult charge from you "soaking' damage for your team.

Even if it was an animation cancel, the fact that an Ana in melee range is a dead Ana and can only realistically be used on flankers keeps it from being OP.

Genji's animation cancel was OP because he wants to be in melee range all the fucking time and he excels at it, so its a direct boost to his normal routine of dashing around 2-4 times getting loads of kills. There was never a reason to NOT cancel his melee with his dash.

Being able to punch is not. Normally it requires .8 seconds to go from throwing to dashing, But with the melee it goes from .8 to .1 seconds.
