She doesn't actually go all "MEEEE", and if anything (and especially in the end), is self-critical as fuck. To the point where she even has a moment where she thinks she doesn't deserve to live.

She also apologizes and is self-aware, talks about how she had been behaving ungrateful and unreasonable at times, even explaining herself. You must lack human empathy not to understand her character. She's a young, emotionally troubled person, and the stuff she actually does is pretty harmless compared to what other young people (troubled or not) do.

If you want my actual opinion, I think she's a multi-faceted character with a lot of backstory and reasoning as to why she is the way she is. She's a tragic character by definition, but because of her personality and lack of resolution to her mental trauma I can't find myself caring about her death in any deep way. I find it ironically hilarious that the narrative hates her so much that to save Arcadia, Chloe has to die. She started off deep, but ultimately was a dead-end character with little development. I appreciate her as a character and hate her as a person.

It actually breaks my heart to think of her in her dark dorm room, trying to confide in her bunny. Thankfully our kind-hearted hero Max understands, stands up for and is there for her.

So, the commonly accepted canon is that Brooke is very into Warren and, as a result, jealous of Max. Brooke will try to make Max jealous by saying she constantly talks with Warren about science or about how they're going to the drive-in together (if you refuse to go with Warren).

This seems pretty straight-forward, right? Brooke is into Warren but Warren likes Max so Brooke hates Max.

Except, she doesn't.

Brooke actually praises Max on several occasions going as far as to call her "the bravest person she's ever known", talks to her on a regular basis and even invites her on a "drone date".

When she uses Warren to make Max jealous it's not out of spite. It's because she actually wants Max to get jealous and pursue her instead.

The best situation I ended up with was Chloe shooting Frank in the leg. I was having some issue with the rewind where I couldn't just go back to one choice and have to replay the whole scene, so I just left it at that.
When I saw Frank in the diner later he didn't seem too pissed. Just sad after hearing the truth about Rachel.

If you do let Chloe kill him then she's really torn up after. She says she's turning herself into the police once they find Rachel and finish everything, as well as something like "How can I say I'm helping Rachel when I killed someone she loves?"
It's a very startling scene to see Chloe like that, but also one you should never have to see because you can and should change it.

Parties and drinking might not be strictly "teenage things" - but in the context of Kate coming from what we learn to be a rather strict Christian household, general environment and presumably upbringing, these are activities that very much do clash. And I like to think in her mind, there's a clash happening too, because I do think Kate is at least to a degree intrigued with this new environment and uses her freedom to indulge those interests. Obviously her "indulging" is still very harmless. I don't want to imply she would have ever made out with a bunch of guys without being drugged - that would be outrageous. She still is special, her beliefs stronger, she thinks about things (and struggles with them) that the other students just live through without stopping and thinking. I grew up in such a household. Even the bit on drinking and definitely the bit on attending parties. Every single year, they relax their grasp on me a bit as long as I don't run wild and get into situations like Kate did.

I assumed the same for Kate which of course may or may not be true. It's hard to tell whether Kate's parents would approve or disapprove but my own parents would ignore it as long as I don't go too far even if they disapprove of it.
