We've got Chapter 18,20x (probably going to leave this to last), 21,22,23,28x (the new 20Ax) and Final as the whole "Really new chapters in comparison to old ones" to do. First of all, these replace on-map arenas.

Second they are limited amounts of fights, like... 2 or 4 in the early game. They have no pay out unless you clear all 4 of them. So think of it as FE4's arena, except everyone is sharing the pool.

On-map arena's contain boss-fight enemies, A single shot arena fight for an increased reward.

So it's no longer an infinite grind or money producer, but it does still give you a place to get units EXP and the rewards can be useful and rare (and may just be more money than you put in, or an item equivalent of the invested worth.)
