like people learned pretty quick how to deal with bastion and whatnot, but im still seeing people wallow on the low ground like fucking morons on EVERY fucking map instead of taking ten seconds to walk up the fucking stairs

this isnt even a rule specific to this game, high ground is advantageous in basically every fucking shooter because it cuts the opponents angle of attack while also removing splash backdrop
and youd think after seeing a lone rein sitting there above them doing not a god damn thing aside from mashing "GROUP UP" a simple thought like "wait rein isnt genji, i should go stand behind him" might trickle into their potato brains

3 Small challenge/arcade game modes, this could be anything, a lucio wall riding minigame, mcree headshot simulator, think timesplitters arcade
4 short playable "missions". These missions would be character centric and develop the world a little bit. Generally they would probably only be around 10-20 minutes and offer a skin or spray for completion, but also give the chance to develop characters and establish some world building in game. This could be a way for blizzard to "push forward" the game world.

I doubt we will be seeing anything like this soon though, I imagine new maps/characters and the then extended side of future comics and shorts is their current focus.

i'm really worried with the way blizz is taking overwatch, having seen the way riot handled league

literally the only fun part of league and mobas in general is lane phase, because it's the time where you can do the most to outplay your opponent. After lane phase ends its just people standing around scared to make a move until someone fucks up and throws

Similarly, Blizz is nerfing the heroes that are high skillcap/have to aim. If we look at the heroes that have suffered major nerfs since launch we see Widowmaker, Hanzo, Mcree and now Genji. All heroes that have to aim, and have higher skillcaps than other champs that have been dominant since day 1 like Lucio, Zarya etc.

With them censoring chat to not offend anyone who gets triggered by a 'ggez' and nerfing skillcap champs i think the game is going to become stale real quick. If they remove some of the more intersting mechanics then it's just gonna be even more of a rock paper scissors game of counters.

It's pretty clever of blizzard to tease all these new emotes and shit as a way to keep people grinding for coins over the off season.
