I have taken most of my images as average since I came upon this general last week and I've seen very good shots posted here.. As for the contrast thing I dunno, that's weird. It looks like he's using an old version of Rampage's effect.txt, which I usually use the contrast values under the Color Correction section for (seems to be absent in SnapDragon.)

There's probably decent contrast options in the above enbeffect.fx section as well if you want to tweak it back to something similar to what it was. Glad you go it fixed.

Meshes need to be parallax-enabled with corresponding parallax textures. Project Parallax is good for this especially since it has patches for major texture packs (like skyrim 2K or noble skyrim.) But you need to install the meshes it comes with.

Its very hard to create a good story with the TES lore. Protipp: The TES lore is mediocre as fuck with a lot of shoehorned bullshit and too much focus on muh ancestral heroes and gods. It has some many flaws, so many missing things.
Everything and everyone in the lore is somewhat OP as fuck. Avoiding that and still making something very interesting is hard. Sometimes its enough to be a resurrected zombie with a unique personality, and sometimes its a child born with a very unique talent. But that doesnt always cut it.
