What is the logic behind the ratios between ingredients in cryomix

MECHANICS Cryo works by dispensing reagents from the beaker into the occupant. As a dosification measure, it won't dispense if the occupant has >1u Cryoxadone and/or >1u Clonexadone in their system. The method by which Cryo dispenses reagents is divided in two operations: (1)- It copies exactly half of the contents of the beaker, then attempts to dispense them into the occupant via permeability. This does not drain any reagents from the beaker. Permeability transfer is somewhat complex and unintuitive, it can be simplified as such: Imagine all the reagents in the beaker are separated and applied invidivually. Each INDIVIDUAL reagent has a chance to fail the transfer, depending on the occupant's clothing. A naked person (e.g. clone) will receive these reagents 100% of the time. A person that has ANY amount of clothes on gives a 50-99% chance (usually more like 95-99%) for each reagent to be blocked. (2)- It directly transfers 1u of the beaker into the occupant, as if transferring with a 1u syringe. This does drain 1u from the beaker each time. It is not affected by clothing. Since the mix is composed of multiple reagents, very small amounts of each reagent are actually transferred at a time. Assume that (1) fails due to the occupant having clothing. There is a minimum metabolizable amount that, if not reached, will cause the reagent to not do anything from (2) alone. For every individual reagent in the beaker, refer to how much of the mix does it make up: 0.1% - 10% = NO effect. Note that this DOES include 10%, due to rounding. 10.1% - 29.9% = Reagent works at from 60% to 80% of its usual efficiency. There is no difference in efficiency in this range, 11u is just as good as 20u. 30%+ = Reagents work at full efficiency. This does include 30% exactly.

Like I said, I'm ambivalent about this issue. I have no strong feelings either way, but i'll play the devil's advocate.

1. The death penalty is efficient. In Eastern European countries without (((complex legal systems))) executions are carried out quickly and aren't bogged down by years of appeals in higher courts. A 9mm bullet is much cheaper than all the food and resources needed to keep some pyschopath alive for 30 years.
2. The death penalty permanently rids society of undesirable people. It's a form of eugenics. I don't want people with violent tendencies to ever have a chance to be free and reproduce.
3. The death penatly is cathartic. It feels good to hear that the guy who raped and killed some grandma is getting a shot of poison into his arm. Solitary confinement doesn't provide the same level of revenge.
3b. Also if you think the death penalty is draconian, but solitary confinement is fine, you have a bizzare double standard.
