So far it's been really good. The only part I can fault is Galactic Zone, which sends you on a fucking collectathon for 20 motherboards.

Dry Rock Gulch adds giant crickets that are honestly just as deadly as the Cazadores from New Vegas. They're fucking impossible to shoot because of their jumping, and they're tanky as hell.

This is the Western Revolver with absolutely zero points in Gunslinger and the best receiver mod.

It deals around 262 damage a shot if you have Gunslinger +5.

Does the leak work with legit steam copies of the game?

I've unzipped with 7zip both the language pack and the .ba2/esm's and placed them in my data folder but when I load up the game no sign of Nuka World anywhere (shows it as coming soon in the DLC screen on the menu).

That russian mega link works perfect guys. Heres a synopsis, there's three gangs, you become the boss first after you defeat their old leader. Then you have to decide which gangs to side with, to turn them all against each other, or to unite them. You have to clear out each park area and claim that territory for the specific raider group you want to rule it. Also there are quests for each raider group. I havent gotten further than this but I belive you'll be able to raid the commonwealth with these groups. The new assault rifle is called the "Handmade rifle". There's a new revolver, a water gun that actually comes in handy, and a rocket powered baseball bats, theres a few more weapons i haven't found yet but the paddleball is one. This park is roughly 1/2 the size of far harbor but its bigger than the new vegas strip. Theres little stores and bars, new nuka colas. Only bad thing so far is the Slaves are referred to as "Traders". You definitely get to do some bad and evil shit, lets just say that. Also gage is a guy...

It's interesting to see the bloodworms in Nukaworld. They were originally intended to be in the core game, so it makes you wonder why they were cut in the first place.

ive avoided purchasing Fallout 4 because it seemed like too much money for a game that i think is mediocre. But now it's becoming too hard to maintain and play my pirated copy along with mods due to conflicting versions.

I kinda like it, forces the player to use different strategies. Seems like explosives and stuff like flamers/plasma throwers would be effective.

Also... from what I'm seeing, Nuka World has no new heavy or energy weapons, which is a huge shame. Not enough of them in Fallout 4 IMO, and most modders add ballistic small guns.

I've seen some WIP energy weapon mods that look promising, and there's the CROSS Plasrail which is really cool (and recently updated), and the Heavy Incinerator and Ray Gun from Trainwiz's mod, but other than that, we're kind of short of them.

Heavy-weapons wise, there are a couple, and a couple more as WIP mods, but otherwise not many people have made one.

Nuka World is started by following the highway that leads out of the Commonwealth on the North West side of the map. It's roughly around the abandoned Church that acts as a secret entrance to that US Military Bunker.

Be warned, Nuka World is some high level shit. If you want to start off as a Raider from the get go and do the DLC, you'll most probably have to done the game down to Very Easy to even stand a chance.

Lighter more efficient guns should naturally be the progression. If anything those hunks of scrap metal should be the heaviest guns. Then as you get closer to refined prewar tech the weights are more reasonable.

A Barret M82a1 with a 29 inch barrel is about 30lbs, and a GE Minigun with a lightweight body kit is about 40lbs.

An M249 lmg, heaviest gun on basic issue, weights about 22lbs.

Pretty sure you could already mod something that. A very short range firearm that uses punching animation and has an effect, just punching when out of ammo. Similar to the properties of a minigun with a shredder.

The issues would be custom reload animations, having the weapon block instead of aim and power attacks/bash attacks working properly. These might no be possible without scripting and animation tools.

What's your rating on Nuka World so far?

Honestly I've been playing all day and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. It feels a lot more focused than Far Harbor about what it set out to do, there's more collectathons and shit hidden around, there's more unique enemies, the Raider gear is fantastic etc. For example a Disciple armored skirt gives you 50 ballistic and energy resistance and that's just one part of the outfit, it's very end game.

For me, 8/10. Easily the best DLC the game has seen.

the shredder allows the minigun to take advantage of melee perks by means of an enchantment on the shredder mod. I would suggest that could work for the power fists you're talking about.
