So getting an odd error when I try to use presets. I put them in the right folder and load them up, but then my game explodes. Only pieces of the character will work, then I can't select anything else on the character creation screen. Only a very small handful, like the Kirino one, actually work without issues. Exactly what mods do I need to make the recent presets work? I have plus pack and plus pack 2.

A lot of the stuff that Ryomou wears is available in the base game, but the colors are a bit off. Will probably need to use mod tools to edit the textures so that all of the colors match.

Eyepatch mod's better than expected too. Not only does it have options for both eyes, but also let you adjust it so that the strap doesn't overlap the opposite eye.

I think there's a download for one in the hongfire thread linked in the OP, but otherwise you can get one from the last patch you used.

Like for example in the 1.35 patch there's one at "cm3d2_up135_x64_sub\data\CM3D2x64_Data\Managed".

Use these configuration files when you run Reipatcher:

They're for a 64-bit installation.

Basically you need these three files to be in the correct folders when it's time to patch Assembly-CSharp.dll.

Sybaris.ini <--This tells Sybaris what folder to load plugins from.
CM3D2x64_sybaris.ini <--This tells Reipatcher where Assembly-CSharp.dll is located.
sybaris_setup.bat <--This runs Reipatcher, which patches Assembly-CSharp, makes new folders for Sybaris to run correctly, and deletes CM3D2.ModPriority.Patcher.dll(a plugin that stops MM from loading.)

I think I'll add this info to next revision of MM+Sybaris+Reipatcher guide. I need to try making some 32-bit configuration files at some point too.

Always keep a fresh copy of Assembly-CSharp.dll handy in case you need to try again. If you need to start over from scratch you can either delete, backup, or move the Sybaris, Reipatcher, and UnityInjector folders outside of the installation. Don't forget opengl32.dll, the one file that Sybaris uses to load. If you're using a new copy of Sybaris, use the opengl32.dll that comes with it. Older ones may not be compatible.

Reach 300 Impression with a maid with Lover status, schedule for them for night service, and propose to them. There'll be a ceremony the following day. The maid becomes your wife, gains skills exclusive to marriage status, and will call you darling instead of master when you have sex with them.

I think you can only marry one maid at a time. It was just introduced so no one's told about what happens if you fire a maid you're married to or other unusual circumstances.

The patcher is looking for the backup file. Give it a backup file to use and it might work, assuming something else isn't awry.

Not exactly a fix, but could help you nonetheless. To me it happens usually just as the day starts, but before I could save. My advice would be that after the day is done, skip everything for the new day, even your headmaid's greeting, and save. After this you can instantly reload and the problem should solve itself, at least for that day.

It's not super complex, but it would take some attention to detail. Basically, ReiPatcher.exe patches Assembly-CSharp.dll to work with the Hongfire patch. In order to successfully patch, it'll need configuration files that tell it how to patch.

Are you following me so far?

Rather than write up a configuation file yourself, you could try using the ones linked to in the OP's Sybaris Guide. You would just have to make sure the configuration's correct before you run the .bat file. If a file's not in place then it'll fail and you'd have to try it with another clean Assembly-CSharp.dll file.

Try using it in Edit mode. Actually, it's kind of off, but if you load Edit mode first and then launch it from the office, you get uncensored textures. Has to do with when the model is loaded. Once the uncensored textures are loaded into memory they should show up.

I tried loading her preset into SybarisArcEditor, a program that comes with Sybaris that lets you look at a preset's files and it kept on giving errors. To get all of the mod files you'd need to put her together you'd basically have to do a scavenger hunt. You might be able to learn of some of them by looking at the log window errors when she's loaded.

Basically wanted to make a maid in the style of a fighting game character. Named Nagisa Kanpekiko*, she loves to get in fights.

Okay, got it to work. After headbutting for a bit I'll go ahead and explain how I did it for future reference, cause its a LOT different than expected, especially if you use NTLEA.

Note that this was done from an install that already ran the game using Reipatcher.

As the guide says, Install Sybaris and it's configuration files. If you already ran the game, replace your Assembly-Csharp.dll from within CM3D2\CM3D2x64_Data\Managed with a fresh one, which can be most easily attained from the 1.35 patch, but before doing so though, back up your Reipatcher modified Assembly elsewhere, cause you will need it later.

Once your merger configuration files are installed, create a "Managed" folder at CM3D2\Sybaris\Plugins, and place a fresh Assembly Csharp in there, but rename it "Assembly-Csharp.dll.(Literally anything you want here).bak", as the patch looks for this but doesn't make or come with one for some fucking reason.

Run the merger .bat, wait till its done and launches the game. Chances are, it'll give you the Yotogi error. The merger now broke NTLEA, if you were using it. That's where the previously backed up Reipatcher Csharp comes in. Go ahead and move that back into CM3D2\CM3D2x64_Data\Managed, replace; and launch from your usual Reipatcher NTLEA exe..

If you're lucky as I was, the game now runs. F7 at office to use Multimaid, refer to the merger guide for that.

If you do not use NTLEA: I figure it will work roughly the same, minus a few adjustments? I just now figured this out so pardon me not knowing all the technicalities.

I'm impressed by a lot of these CM3D2 mods I've seen so far. They're much higher quality than ones I saw in 3D Custom Girl.

Multiple Maids in particular is amazing in how it can manipulate lighting and camera to make all sorts of special effects. This screenshot for example, is entirely MM effects. It has things like fog, depth of field, tinting, bloom, blur, and a few others that make images look just as good as if they had been edited them in Photoshop.

Most of the character mods I've seen so far are decent too, like this one of Tomoe from Queen's Blade. It's hard to believe that the CM3D2 modding community has only been at this for a little over a year.

So where can I find a standalone male uncensor? the upkiss one isn't on uppervolta anymore and I don't intent to install the hf patch.

We're not there yet, but we're getting there. Each Custom Maid General has gotten a little more activity from thread #7 onwards. 8 was pretty much on life support, 9 was struggling but made it to 750 before deletion, 10 was able to coast a little(helped by all the tech support questions definitely), and this one, 11, is starting to reach its stride a bit. 330 posts in 17 hours isn't too bad for a general that's still forming.

Right now maiden masters on /vg/ are kind of split up what with the merge attempt that happened earlier in the week. While having two communities under one umbrella wouldn't necessarily be all bad I think it would make answering questions about both games a lot more difficult.

At the least we have a more legit op now too.

With all of this frustration with Sybaris and ReiPatcher I'm thinking maybe we could try setting up our own batch of files that automates the process. Like a Hongfire patch...patch basically. An installer that installs it, Sybaris, and MultipleMaids with little hassle.
