Okay literally just did it as 705 ele, here's my strat, Mount up and run around and aggro the boss avoiding most of his melees and his electric shock things until he throws you then get in pool and rape him with lust and all cd's and AG up.
I took Totem Mastery, Ancestral Guidance, Primal Elementalist, Elemental Mastery Ascendance. Pop all of your cds and your ele and I had a Timewalking Intellect on use trinket AG should keep you reasonably decent on HP while its up. then you just have to finish him off after the first pool, ended the fight at about ~40% health. Considering one of the two people willing to make shit happen for the well-being of a race is the current warchief, I think horde will be fine.
Also as an aside, WARCRAFT requires those kinds of leaders to create any sort of tension between the alliance. Varian knew when to fight but Anduin will avoid it. Now he needs an antagonistic leader to push him.

The Alliance has been winning since TBC. The Horde has had two of it's cities sacked by them, it's leaders regularly go full hitler (Garrosh, Sylvanas during the war against the Worgen, Putress) the Horde hasn't won a major battle since Vanilla and the Alliance haven't ever had a significant loss.

I've started on a new server, and I had the idea of basically making a full set of characters, one of each class, then camp Westfall/Kharanos and go through the invasions when they pop on each character. Now that garrisons gold gain is nerfed, how do you make good gold? I have two 100's so far on this server, but all these alts need riding training and shit, so I need to make som G's. And NO ONE on the horde would accept Sylvanas as warchief when Thrall's nominated candidate was still around. He didn't die to "make it fair". He died because there would be no warcraft in world of warcraft otherwise.
If the alliance ever finds a way to get Anduin's line off the throne then they could also have an antagonist in Jaina. Enjoy siege of Stormwind in 2019.
