Hello, I read the guide yesterday and would like your advice anons.
My bf gave me his old3dsXL, because he doesn't use it anymore. I want to hack it and play BD MK7 PQ and PKMNX. But it's on the latest version. 11 e33 or something like that. it sounds like Nintendo fucked up downgrading pretty bad with 11.0. The scene's not dead though, smealum and a few others seem to be actively working on the newer firmwares. It's unlikely but possible that they'll figure something out which doesn't require soldering or another 3ds

I just googled it quickly, but yeah sky3ds seems to be the only one which supports 11.0. You should probably do more research before dropping money on it, they're pretty expensive

I doubt it with the way the SD card is formatted when setting up a9lh+luma3ds.

If you want to try, make a backup of your SD card for your 3ds by just copy and pasting into a new folder.

Then, put your wiiu folder for loadiine on the SD card of your 3ds and try booting with the url in the wiiu.

If you somehow fuck your SD card up, atleast you'll be able to buy a new SD card and just copypasta your 3ds contents onto the new card.

On a new3ds XL i keep having problems with Luma3ds.
When I close the ds i lose the soundtrack and the game crashes shrotly after, and I get an endless loading screen for games like monster hunter and smash bros.
I'm using ctrbootmanager and I know I should repath luma3DS.bin, but it's not in luma 5.5 and the only other .bin is the arm9loaderhax one.
And, just in case, using pathchanger on it does nothing.

What should I do?

If you go to the control options in the quick menu you can set the d-pad to be mapped to the left or right stick, but I don't think there's a way to bind something to a stick directly - even when I set the device type to "RetroPad w/ Analog" I only get options to bind d-pad and face buttons.

How about you understand what you're talking about before posting? What you're referring to as " homebrew" is the homebrew launcher and it has nothing to do with an entrypoint in particular, in fact it's available for more than one. And it's not unstable in launching luma's .3dsx, it's unstable in loading itself, if luma has problems loading from the hbl it's luma's problem. it also has nothing to do with the entrypoint itself.

Doesn't work like that. DS games use low level I/O since they're running on bare metal, unlike 3DS games or PSP games which use OS syscalls.

Basically, there's nothing in between the cart and the game that would be able to do the redirection.
