For instance, I always pick my main champion regardless of the matchup. From the point of view where only winning matters that's a mistake and I should pick fotm broken champions based on the matchup.
I play ranked to have fun and fun for me is having close games where everyone is trying. I don't enjoy wins I get because of the trolls on the enemy team, even though they improve my rank I care about.

You need a very good reason to go refillable over 3biscuit, and saving 150g isn't a good enough one.

You get 250hp from Refillable and 480hp from Biscuits. You basically need to base twice before it becomes clearly better than biscuits. Sure you save a bit if you need more pots later, but it's not worth the risk of spotting the enemy an easy lead (that can be a lot more than 150g).

Guy, how do I into top?
I have picked my autistically mained champs, and am winning 75-80% of my normals, playing roughly 6 games a day on average.
I have grabbed Teemo, Trynd, and Gangplank to main on this account, as my first real attempt at a non-jungle attempt at ranked.
Any ideas come to mind about pullinh myself through promos with those champs?
Trynd splitpush is strong, so might just do that...

I'd say you're doing fine with the champ pool you have now. Me personally, I play a methodical map pressure approach to top lane. On GP,I force my laner and or his jungler to come at me or I'm taking something. Or I'll hide in their jungle to assassinate them.
On Shen I focus on what lane needs my attention and I constantly shift focus to make sure they need me. Other wise I'm pushing.

If splitpushing turns out to be your thing keep doing it, refine it and use it in a way that that makes the climb worth climbing. I'm personally scared of playing Tryndamere right now because I don't know how well I can play him

I think Riot has to learn how to make champs worth learning over and over and over again while still maintaining visual weaknesses. Gangplank is a good example of this because learning how to use the barrels really does help you dominate and misusing barrels can cost you, but he's still fun regardless.

Yasuo and Ekko's kit is entirely based on making plays and not actual kit efficiency. Whether or not you keep max E stacks on Yasuo or maintain your shield makes no difference as you still kill people regardless of what they build. Now if Yasuo had a resource (not even mana) that made his attacks or skills stronger or longer based off this resource then it wouldn't be as frustrating.

Seriously. I get that some games you can come back from, even in 4v5, but the community in general have a very hard time letting a losing game go and save everyone time and aggravation. I can count the number of games I my team surrendered but I wanted to keep trying on one hand, the games I wanted to surrender and we won are probably a few dozen or maybe a hundred, the games I wanted to surrender and they refused, only to lose 10 minutes later, are probably beyond number.

I am retarded. My placements were 8 wins, 2 losses, got placed in Bronze 3. Worked my way up to gold promos 5 times in total, each time losing and being sent back to Silver 3/4. Dynamic queue is fun

I earned gold before it came out with an 85% w/l on my main, got to Gold 4 promos, then quit for a while, came back to Dynamic queue, and now have an 45% w/l, the first time I've ever had a negative win rate.

This isn't even really about elo hell, it's about the camp, and it's fucking obnoxious. However, if my teammates were more skilled and didn't usually feed, or at least knew how to take advantage of a camp, then I would probably be high Plat by now, at least.

To be fair, most of the times I don't get camped are outside of ranked against diamonds, whose junglers figure can make quick work of me, but they always end up losing, so I guess it's a good thing to camp me.

Well, maybe despite whether they feed or not is a bad way to word it, some people simply feed too much to possibly be carried no matter who you are.

However, simple champions are some of the best for getting fed and becoming the unstoppable force in the first place, if you're actually really good at laning and roaming, and your picks in particular have incredibly strong laning phases if you play well, with only maybe Fiora and Morg not being auto win champions in lane.

They will never, ever get good. The best way to get out of silver is to brute-force the SHIT out of it by picking super carries and having one reliable teammate to go someone who can peel you.

At the moment, I'd recommend Kog with a Braum support. If you don't like ADC, go someone like LB mid and just explode everyone early so your lanes become impossible to ever lose.

Idk your elo but I'm willing to bet you're at highest gold, no offense of course you just started playing ranked.. So Akali and Kat for sure. Both are basically auto win cancer once you hit 6 if you don't get camped too hard.

Also Yasuo if you get good at him, he wins literally every matchup once you learn to play him, but he's fairly technical. Akali and Katarina are just faceroll and win every time.

Also someone else mentioned Anivia, a lot of people try to say she has a high skill cap, but she's actually braindead, and a good alternative if you want a mage mid rather than an assassin.

Getting Corrupting after... Honestly I'm 50/50 on it. I personally hate Corrupting Pot (I always forget to use it during trades) but I suppose it would give you a good early powerspike, though personally I want either CDR or a Bambi's from my first back.
