A PvE focused but online capable covenant could still be really grand. Perhaps a covenant of the cursed which acts like a cross between gravelord and Covenant of the Champions, i.e when accept the covenant, it "brands" you can you have to offer at least 5 covenant item sbefore you can unequip the covenant. The covenant acts like a gravelord covenant in that while you have it active, Black Phantom enemies and special enemies spawn in your worlds, but said special enemies can be farmed for covenant rewards and items that allow you to curse other people's worlds. Doing this invites them to invade you(but of course you can be a dick and seed your world).
