So given that the recommended light level for the raid is...what, 385, how do you reckon people will be raid-ready in three days?

I get the point of every raid, mostly, has been to start under the recommended level and level up with gear along the way - or at least perhaps it was with KF initially and now this - but 50 light levels to cover is a bit of a tall order.

Not sure how an increase of 50 will work. You can grind that in 2-3 hours of strikes.
Unless they rework how you increase your light level to something progress based instead of RNG loot drops, I'm not sure how they expect it to take anyone long to hit max light level.

Y1 Bosses were really badly designed.

It was so fucking annoying that every single boss had a super strong AOE defense attack they would use once you got too close.

Anything that required you to get close was an immense risk. Generally all boss encounters felt like they were designed to stay back and snipe.

Thankfully, from y2 onwards they don't that anymore.

Well, unless we get them brought back for a very specific reason, I don't think we ever will.

The Blades existed for Husk farming and knowing what the key thing in Crota's End would be, the Wolves existed - aside from chest and key farming - for the sake of those bounties for hunting named Fallen.

I would say the Taken Lieutenants and Zealots may go the same way, but they're an integral part of quests, so unless RoI does away with every TTK quest aside from new class ones or something I doubt they'll disappear.

You're going to get people who either loved it or hated it. Personally, I loved it. Reach had a lacking campaign in comparison to other Halo games with 'go to this button and press X' (Sadly they didn't get more creative with Destiny). But the PvP was great, bar armor lock, which was possibly the most frustrating thing to ever be added to an FPS.
