Does Hanzo need a buff? I've been playing him much to the dismay of my pub allies in qp lately and while he certainly feels better than Pharah right now he feels like he's missing something.

In TF2 the maps are tighter, and layered, your turrets range is also far shorter, which does wonders for placement but it does far more damage and also causes knockback, think Torbs ult all the time knocking you back

This means turrets are effective at short range and require the team to defend at the opposing team to co-ordinate to get rid of them

The difference in overwatch is the turret is a pea shooter and if you build it round a corner it will get 2/3 shot and in overwatch there is no damage drop off so it can get sniped easily too

TF2's engineer had teleporters, a sentry and a static healing device, which means an Engineer on attack had value as they could build a forward base, where in overwatch both are niche on defence and worthless on defence

I've been playing from rank 54 to 64, here are my experiences:
54-56: issues with upholding the meta nearly every game. its common for people to not play their heroes to their full potential and often make bad decisions, almost no communication, people insisting on playing one hero and don't adapt, hanzos, still able to group up and make pushes together
57-59: lower level play, some people use their mic, in 57 you can often hear girl and undropped balls voices
60-62: people know their roles, coordinate and often communicate, almost never have to discuss team comp
63/64: unlikely to get past these levels if you don't use your mic, higher level of coordination, people start to use strats
